Seeing as most TV on the commercial channels are taken up by adverts thought I’d start this for some spleen venting.
Really hate the KFC adverts with the cartoon chicken heads🤦🏻♂️

I have no problems with this as I watch youtube. So wouldn't a clue on Adverts anymore.
Only think I watch on TV are Attenborough Docs or Spring watch so it's BBC so no adverts 👍

I couldn’t agree more, those Nationwide adverts are hideous as are all the bank ones with the Zoom shite saying “now more than ever” or the ever irritating “in these difficult times”. As for the meerkats I’m not that arsed but they’re definitely having diffficulty retaining the Russian accent, the more they talk the less Russian they sound, like any cocky impressionist I suppose🤣 |

These women’s anti aging creams or whatever, I always look to the bottom of the screen where it says something like 72% of 34 women agree like it’s some kind of endorsement that it’s good The small print is sometimes bonkers - it's as if they HAVE to publish their results irrespective of what they are I swear I read one a few years ago which was something like 35% of 62 women said it made a difference - surely by inference 65% said it didn't and hence was a waste of bloody money. Also you see some adverts for anti ageing cream from massive global brands and their test data is from 73 people - wtf. Did they just pass it around one of their offices. Surely a large global brand doing customer research would check it with a few thousand people. |
