You have to have a kick of the ball to have a “go”. They were just miles better all over the pitch. A complete mismatch. You do. Again the set up didn’t allow for that. We didn’t go out to have the ball. We put out about the slowest team he could muster and hoped for the best. It’s pathetic. I think you are being naive. They are one of the best sides in the country. We, on the other hand, are a poor championship team. In an empty stadium, with no home crowd advantage, we are dependent on them having an off day whilst we play out of our skins and get a huge slice of luck to stand any chance of getting a result. When full backs cut inside and blast one in the top corner from 20 yards most grown ups in the real word know that the underdog had very little chance of causing an upset. If Vokes scores that easy chance then who knows, but a gung go style against them today could have seen a score of 7 or 8 nil and I’m not exaggerating.

It’s not naive to think your team might try to win the game. The first goal was schoolboy defending from two experienced players 😂one of whom is a teachers pet. If Vokes scores, hahahahaha hahahaha who’s naive now.

exactly, and if he chooses to, he must also choose a team which is capable of putting in 10-15 crosses per game (excluding set pieces) for me, if he persists with Fat Sam, the lineup must be.... Bursik Collins Souttar Batth/Chester Clucas Verlinden Mikel/Allen/(is it Porter or Varían?) Cousins (MUST START!) Powell - (MUST START) Ince/Matondo Vokes Absolutely spot on. To play Vokes and have no one on the pitch that can cross is criminal. Have you not seen the sitters Vokes has missed with his head recently? He is garbage. Good crossing won’t change that

People still putting Vokes in after pretty much all his performances this season, need serious help, crosses or not crosses he doesn't move. It's like he doesn't want be on the pitch, at least try like Brown does, winds me up.

A few weeks ago, when I said that I couldn't understand MONs negativity, I was castigated by some on here, saying that I didn't know what the fuck I was talking about. Really? Ever since then MON has picked a side that has no hope of scoring, let alone, winning a game. What the fuck he sees in Vokes, I'll never know. The bloke should be no where near the first team. The excuse that we have a few injuries is wearing a bit thin now. I really don't know much about the U23 players we have, but, Christ almighty, there must be someone who can run and jump at least more than 6 inches in the air. I just hope that we address the striker situation this transfer window, but I'm not at all confident it will happen. The players we've supposedly linked with are all speedy wing men, which is fantastic, because pace is something that is seriously lacking in our team at the moment but if we don't have someone who has the speed and nous to get in behind the opposition defence all their efforts will be futile. No doubt I'll be accused of spouting absolute bollocks by some on here, which is ok, I don't give a shit!! It's just my opinion and like everyone else I'm entitled to an opinion. If by some chance, all these players we are linked with are some sort of smoke screen, to hide our real transfer targets and we manage to unearth the next Stien, Sheron, Thorne, I will gladly bare my arse in "Burton's" window.

There is nothing stopping us from putting a team out that can attack bar the tactics. He doesn’t have to pick Vokes, he chooses to. exactly, and if he chooses to, he must also choose a team which is capable of putting in 10-15 crosses per game (excluding set pieces) for me, if he persists with Fat Sam, the lineup must be.... Bursik Collins Souttar Batth/Chester Clucas Verlinden Mikel/Allen/(is it Porter or Varían?) Cousins (MUST START!) Powell - (MUST START) Ince/Matondo Vokes I’d rather not play vokes at all to be fair. Why can’t we give once ago up top you never know he might just be abit better than that lump who couldn’t finish his breakfast although his size says different 😃

We needed two forwards adding to the squad even when Ty was fit, given Fletcher's age and fitness issues.
We've just added a winger/striker, but without at least one more forward it's hard to see where the goals are coming from - especially if MON persists with his bizarre formations.
