Bursik 5, let in 4 goals.
Smith 4, not good enough at this level. Souttar 6, our best defender. Shawcross 4, must take most of the blame for their last two goals, sloppy defending! Batth 5, not too bad. McClean 4, hopless in attack and really should have stopped their second!
Allen 5, not up to speed yet. Mikel 5, not up to speed yet. Clucas 5, not up to speed yet, but shows weaknesses defensively.
Brown 3, terrible player! What is MON thinking here!!?? Vokes 4, missed glorious opportunity again, but really given mission impossible in many ways.
Collins 6, shows how much better he is than Smith. Thompson 5, OK. Matondo 3, no contribution at all.

Bursik 5 couldn't do anything about the goals
Smith 4 Souttar 6 Shawcross 5 Batth 6 McClean 3 piss poor
Allen 5 Mikel 5, Clucas 6 decent dead balls.
Brown 5 worked hard and did better than expected Vokes 3 still dire
Collins 6, Thompson 5, Matondo 4 hard to tell how he will fare against championship opposition. Fingers crossed

Bursik 7 could not do anything about the goals.
Smith 5, usual performance but without any catastrophic errors. Souttar 7 he's good. Shawcross 5, rusty Batth 5, usual stuff McClean 4, very poor - offers little and should have done more with goal 2 Allen 5, rusty Mikel 5, glimpses of quality, but should not be in place of Cousins. Clucas 5 anonymous Brown 5 At least he ran his socks off. Vokes 3 I am trying not to be unkind, but he looked disinterested today and missed our only chance.
Collins 6, He is quality. Thompson 5 Didn't do much Matondo 5 Cant really give a mark but he is rapid - lets see, give him a few games.

I would have gave Vokes 2 for putting his boots on but I swear he got them the wrong way round.

Harsh to be giving Matondo a mention tbh, he's been here a day and got chucked on with no idea what he was meant to be doing it was a shambles by the end.

Anyone who gives Vokes anything higher than a zero is deluded.
I can’t think of a single positive thing he did all game.

I could have written not on long enough, but the mark is right compared to what he did. It's a bit like Vokes, given mission impossible!

I would give Brown a higher mark than Vokes simply because he neve4 stopped trying and looked like he gave a shit
Defensively Ryan was the pick for me. Then Batth, then souttar

I am struggling for something positive to say about players such as smith, Vokes, Mikel and Maclean. They really were an absolute shambles. When you are playing with 7 men then you will never win games

Bursik 6 - did nothing wrong, really. Decent handling, some tidy saves.
Smith 4 - brainless, almost always switched off to what's going on around him, and technically inept - what's not to like??
Souttar 6 - overall did OK, some lapses, but generally fine, up against PL class
Shawcross 6 - could gave done better with a couple of bits but overall, OK
Batth 6 - instead of just panning him for the sake of it, as many do - got humped by Albrighton for the goal, otherwise, OK
McClean 4 - hard work and effort has always carried him through. But sometimes it's just not enough. Woeful in patches.
Allen 5 - good start, thought he was pretty good first quarter of the game. Then as it went on, realised we weren't going to win, and lost interest. If he was hoping to impress Uncle Brendan, he failed
Mikel 5 - I was hoping for a Rolls Royce in the twilight of his career, but I'm thinking more an Alfa Romeo. Is Cousins dead?
Clucas 6 - some good delivery, and good effort. One of the better players on the day.
Brown 5 - improved slightly, after a diabolical start. Loads of effort, but has the distinct whiff of 'competition winner' about him, still
Vokes 2 - no redeeming qualities at all; slower than a glacier, shit in the air, shit on the ground, no threat whatsoever. Another pathetic performance. I originally thought '3' - then recalled his one chance, that I'd have backed Stephen Hawking to bury
Collins 6 - fine when he came on. He'll be playing in that company every week, before too long
Thompson 5 - hard to give him more than 5, but only because he came on when the game was over, both teams going through the motions
Matondo 5 - did nothing, good or bad, so hard to say much, really

Vokes kicking himself, that’s a start, maybe a few months he will be able to do that to a ball with practice

Bursik - Continues to look authoritative and confident. Couple of decent saves and no blame on the goals (7) Shawcross - OK first 45 but struggled badly with the pace of Leicester thereafter (5) Souttar - Some wayward passing and still pretty raw but at least he keeps going (6) Batth - No nonsense but too slow and limited on the ball (5) Smith - Continues to regress (4) Mikel - A passenger, two bad games in a row since his return (4) Allen - Clearly still not up to speed, worked hard but appears to be on the wane (5) McClean - Standard, huge work rate again but dire in possession and his team mates look fed up with his contributions (5) Clucas - Some lovely first half set pieces but like some others looks off the pace (6) Brown - Held it up OK and worked hard again but doesn’t seem to anticipate anything (5) Vokes - Appalling (3)
Thompson - Didn’t notice him much (5) Collins - Looks like one of the few players capable of stepping up a level (6) Matondo - Completely isolated although you can tell he’s quick (5)

Bursik 6 made some good saves/claims, no chance with the goals or shower of shite in front of him
Smith 3 piss awful Souttar 6 dodgy start but grew into the game Shawcross 6 had a good start, composed, tired Batth 5 got caught out of position McClean 4 one great defensive run, quality is poor
Allen 4 ran around a lot Mikel 2 slow, a passenger Clucas 6 set pieces good
Brown 1 absolutely awful. No hold up, weak as piss on the ball, cant pass, no threat. Vokes 0 toothless. Missed a sitter
Hard to mark the subs as sent on when the game was gone
We have no spark, no creativity, no threat at the min
A slow midfield that looks to recycle the ball rather than threaten, and wing backs, Smith especially, who shits himself and passes backwards at every opportunity
If I see another (and I will) free kick in the oppo half, or throw in near the edge of the oppo box and it end up with Bursik after 2 backward passes my head will explode
MoN 3 - in a rut, stubbornly keeping the same system, its not working.
Aarrrrgghhhhhh.
