Great player that he's been over the years that was pretty awful and a shame but we need to move him out in the summer. His wage is far better going to some younger players that can actually keep up with the pace of a game.

He was visibly shattered and should have been subbed. Was culpable for the 3rd heavily. Backup now I’m afraid. He’ll know that himself.

He was no worse than anyone...... He was, must take most of the blame for their last 2, sloppy defending!

He was no worse than anyone...... That’s not saying much though, although I’d say Souttar was better and has age in his favour. Ba’ath wasn’t great but at least made tackles.

So slow it's chronic. McClean is awful as well.

How can you watch that shower of utter shit and Shawcross be your main concern?

He was tiring towards the end which is no surprise with his lack of game time. Made some important blocks and was positionally sound and solid. He certainly isn’t finished at all, unless another injury comes along and definitely wasn’t the root cause of our demise today.

He must be one of our top earners. I don't know how long he has left on his contract but sadly has to be let go once it's over. He's now a liability and a waste of 2, maybe 3 players' wages.
Thanks for the memories Ryan but the end has to come for everyone eventually.

He wasn’t that bad but what infuriates me is how he always kicks the ball out of play and never looks to try to keep posession. That really impresses me in respect to Collins and Soutter. Great servant but he should only play in emergencies.

His wage is far better going to some younger players that can actually keep up with the pace of a game. It really is a shame as he is a club legend, and he actually played well for the first hour or so, but we need someone younger, quicker and less injury prone as we are so slow at the back. Think him and Chester (who I believe is only on a 1 year deal) need to be gone at the end of the season, aside from the above we need to slash the wage bill in the summer.

Impossible To conclude he is finished on the basis of that game. Played his first full game in over a year and was unsurprisingly tired but held the centre together well given we were ripped apart in wide areas and had a barely functioning midfield and no attacking threat. Central defence is not where the problems start

50k a week would enable us a large amount of flexibility in the summer when his contract ends with us.

Probably one of our best players, was actually better than Souttar today who had a bit of an off game especially some of his passes. The 3rd goal he didn't get back for but Allen just watched the ball bounce and didn't try to press the player until he had gone past. The 4th was a great block on the cross and couldn't do much about the follow up (wouldn't have been given with VAR as Albrighton was definitely interfering).

Thought he was one of our better players today I thought this but seems we're in the minority. I thought he did well, particularly first half then understandably ran out of steam when it all collapsed around him.

Shawcross wasn't the problem. At 2-0 we had to change it and 433 just played into Leicester's hands. Beaten by a far better team - and would have been no matter who played today.

He always makes sure he clears the adboards so a quick throw can't be taken. A punt upfield could lead to a slice or Vokes losing it and them countering with Shawcross out of position.

It’s an issue, not perhaps the main issue. We’ve not been the same since Campbell then Fletchers injuries. We’ve rested Fletcher and Powell today which has made a difference.

I would rather see Ryan Shawcross get a contract extension than keep the likes of Vokes,Brown,Wimmer etc.People keep going on about his salary and possibly freeing up wages for other players as a reason to get rid of him.He is nowhere near finished yet. Can't wait for some to eat humble pie when he proves you wrong.
