Has anyone seen any this year ? The road I live on is quite a busy road which takes you to local shops and a couple of schools...it's a busy road. I've seen ONE gritter all over Xmas and new year...I usually see 3 or 4 a day. This morning I crossed the road whilst walking my dog and went a right cropper...slipped, both feet up in the air and smacked my head on the road.I had good walking boots on but it happened in a split second. Thankfully I'm fit and healthy so no great damage done apart from a headache but if it had been an elderly person it could have been so much worse. Thanks Newcastle Borough Council...I will be contacting them for answers.
