A very dangerous precedent was set back in the summer during the "BLM protests", the Police standing back whilst coming under attack, not intervening whilst criminals defaced and destroyed monuments etc, Police running away from violent mobs some carrying weapons openly on our streets, officers taking the knee under orders from their "superiors", the way opposing protests were "policed" one with kid gloves the other with force, the authorities have lost control the emergency services as well as the police now seem to be fair game for these brain dead idiots, it's sad to see that the country has become a lawless shit hole but not perhaps unexpected.

Shocking. tougher sentences needed for anyone guilty of assaulting any of our emergency services personnel , As for why this is getting worse the debates could go on for ever, I’d suggest a lack of respect , addictions , no fear of the consequences..
Scary times ..

Scary times .. Consequences there aren’t any. Add to that people videoing officers and putting them on online when they should actually have there phones confiscated. Add to that a lack of support from MSM and politicians who would rather hang them out to dry.

I can assure you this sort of thing was going on well before the arrival of BLM. It is more a case of a useless criminal justice system milked by immoral lawyers where the victim is placed firmly at the bottom of the needs list. Until lawyers, judges and do gooders are sorted, there will be no deterrent to this type of activity.

He deserves to get 10 years but will be unlucky to get 10 months

As we can’t seem to get it right in England. I suggest we have a look at what happened in Scotland . Glasgow in particular where knife crime was a big problem. They treated the crime as a “illness” and often found alcohol problems , drug addictions etc, it was a success and the reoffending rate was improved. Also Holland has a low prison population due to radical ideas..
