On the buses and carry on films on ITV3 all today and tomorrow, thatβs my Christmas sorted.π Christmas day and boxing day tv sorted for me then. Sadly I'll have to record all of them and watch them later, as my lady has suffered a rather unfortunate case of humour bypass and wouldnt dream of watching such hilarity. Instead ive have the indignity of watching 3 series of handmaids tale, which is a good series in itself, but watching it 5 days on the spin is rather eating away at my soul. Thank God for an ipad and some headphones.

Check out street cat named Bob on netflix. I'd highly recommend if you want feel good Christmas cheer. They do a Christmas special but worth watching the first movie beforehand to set the context.. Story of a cat who basically saves this homeless guy/busker - true story too!

I'm in the US - 5 channels of The Godfather, Goodfellas and other mob movies. I can't help but chuckle, the irony is not lost on me.

I remember waiting with excitement for the Radio or TV Times and pawing through for the great films and programmes. Then when video recorders came along, faffing about with setting the timers (which invariably failed due to pilot error). It does appear Christmas TV is rubbish now though....I mean, I could even find any broadcast of Jason and the Argonauts which was always on. I loved that film as a kid and the fighting skeletons still scare me now.ππ

I don't know about programmes but I'm sick of that eBay ad where they're fitting their living room together like a jigsaw puzzle. It must be on every break. Plus the song on it's annoying

No way, typical I'm out and about... hopefully they re run it. π Bound to, it's still a great watch. I remember seeing a programme a while ago describing how the film was the original stop/start animation and how it inspired Nick Park.

It was way ahead of its time, but now it looks just a little bit rubbish.ππ Still, I enjoy it.
