It won’t happen but at a minimum the FA Cup should be sacked off for this year to ease fixture congestion.

Dyche on sky suggesting footballers should all be vaccinated asap to save the cost of testing them and games been called off He’s already showed his true colours in recent interviews. He probably thinks investment bankers should be at the front of the queue as well......

I can see what he means but he probably should say it out loud.
Keeping football going is pretty vital to people - and it helps people’s mental health no end, particularly during lockdown. It entertains, connects people and gives people something to focus on. It is invaluable in certain circles.
I speak for myself in this too. I had 4 days off work in 2020 and was more stressed than I’ve ever been (yes, very insignificant compared to people who have really suffered and lost their jobs and family members losing their lives, my ‘problem’ is absolutely nothing at all) but I can only speak for myself and I can say that when football returned it helped me no end. It just gave me (and many others) a distraction and I can’t quantify how football makes things better for me.
However, the vaccine rollout needs to be done with deaths in mind and not mental health - so whilst it’s important, it’s not the most important thing.

It will be the successful Hedge Fund managers first then the less successful ones later.... with nurses presumably.

He's spot on.
Fuck all the Elderly folk, those with disabilities, those battling potential life threatening diseases, all the key workers of this country such as health workers, teachers, armed forces, emergency service people, all the workers who are vital to keeping the economy going etc.
Let's give footballers priority and get them jabbed quick.

It sums up the society we live in. It’s the logical conclusion of paying barely literate gobshites more per day than most nurses earn in a year. Fucked up.

A Canadian member of the IOC was saying something similar the other day, i.e. that olympic athletes should have priority so that the Tokyo Olympics can go ahead this year. Absolute nonsense.

Even though there are a few on this message board who will not agree with this opinion ... It does sum up what our society and welfare priorities have become.

Doesn’t matter what Dyche thinks, he won’t be in a job as soon as his new American owners dislike his brand of football

Four days off was bad for your mental health .Do you want to come work for me? 😉

It’s by no means up there - but I also think it’s important to some people, albeit not essential. (I have got Sky too)
