Anyone got a decent system?? I'm looking at the Sonos Arc. Anyone got one?? I've used Sonos for years. It's a brilliant system. I have all my music on a NAS drive which still works well via wifi even if my PC is switched off. I use it on timer for half an hour when I go to bed and also a second alarm in the morning just in case I snooze my buzzer alarm too many times.
It occasionally falls over but that's usually because I've moved one of the speakers too close to the router. I have one in every room of the house including two that have Alexa built in - it's not full blown Alexa but most things work such as adding stuff to my diary, setting reminders & asking her questions. I have the 'Move' portable speaker which also works with Bluetooth but I haven't used that bit yet. The build quality is superb and the sound is excellent.

I moved house in Jan and one of the things I want in the kitchen is some 'built in' speakers- sounds like you've got the same kind of set but all over

I moved house in Jan and one of the things I want in the kitchen is some 'built in' speakers- sounds like you've got the same kind of set but all over At the moment I have a 'Play3' in the kitchen but you've just made me think I might swap it with the 'Move' that's in the lounge as I can add to my diary on my laptop in the lounge. You can play different music in each room but I live on my own so just have the same playing all around the house. Some of the reviews for the latest software aren't brilliant and as I have an old 'Connect' in the spare bedroom which needs to run from the old software I haven't upgraded but I have still had issues with tracks dropping out (which seems to be the basis of most bad reviews). These have gone since I moved the office speaker three feet away from the router.
