The 2-2 home match against Leicester wound me up probably more than any game in the last decade. 2-0 up at half time playing against 10 men and I think Leicester had about 6 other players on a yellow card too. Hughes then put on a second half exhibition of some of the worst game management you’re ever likely to see. This.

Could be this afternoon..!!!! It's hardly been inspiring stuff. But I won't be annoyed if we get a point out of it.

That Newcastle game on Boxing Day that we lost 5-1 and went down to 9 men. Martin fucking Atkinson. That game! Cost me 450 quid in a taxi down to aldershot to shag a bird I was on line chatting to! Despite being due in work at 8am the next morning Jeez you must of been desperate.

bumping this because i just stumbled across footage of the 93 game against Tranmere. it doesn't show the claimed back pass but does suggest their second was onside.

Loss at Crewe where we had given ourselves a great chance of staying up. The play off second leg v Leicester where we were useless and one dimensional, pumping high balls to their centre backs. Was obvious from the first 5 mins it wasn't working but we carried on all game .So much down the drain that night. O'Neill had us beaten from the kick off and they outplayed us.

Tranmere away, battered 3-0, not guts, no skill, no anything. Crewe away, lost 1-0 when trying avoid relgation.
Not sure why they stick in my head though. I get more disenchanted than angry.

This is the one,it was Brian Deane but Taylor got the first Stoke 2-2 Sheff Utd HT 0 - 0 FT 2 - 2 Richard Forsyth (66)Peter Thorne (86) Gareth Taylor (59)Brian Deane (90) I served in the RN with Brian Deane's brother Tony, he was a decent footballer as well and very similar looks Brian Deane owns a Kosovo football club

Southampton away last game of season when Pulis was being his usual cnutish self and refusing to bring Owen on. The lad was playing his last game in football and only eventually came on thanks to the fans. I was fuming.

Play off semi away at Walsall. We 100% deliberately threw that game.

I get very angry most games tbh. One of the angriest I can remember was possibly it was the first season up, may have been the second and we had Derby in the League Cup quarter final I think it was. It was a drab 0-0 for most of the game until Rob Styles (I think) gave Derby a penalty for handball and I went apolpectic. I watched a replay later and thought it was a peno but at the time I just thought he was conning us

Yeah, Gudjon did have a bit of a tendency to shit himself in the big games and go super defensive. Stop me if you've heard this one before - he'd made his name during a reasonably successful stint managing a minor international side with the onus being very much on being organised and defensive. He had his own favoured system which really didn't work brilliantly but he only very reluctantly jettisoned it.

FA Cup semi final vs arsenal, 2 0 up at HT, then that bloody ice cream seller Are you mixing up the two semi finals? We were 2-0 up at Hillsborough in ‘71 and lost the replay 2-0. The ice-cream seller (or whatever he was) was at the 1972 replay at Goodison where Arse won 2-1 with a dodgy penalty and a blatantly offside goal.

Yes for me too. Not angry but upset and disbelieving. I always say that was my worst football experience as a stoke fan and that there can never be a worse one. Can there.......................................?? That day started my total distrust of football officialdom which was further reinforced in the FA Cup semi against Arsenal at Goodison. It's ever likely Stokies hate Arsenal.

Actually got chatting to him in bar just after the Brit opened think it was. Real decent bloke and good striker

Really forking difficult question, there’s so many to choose from. I’ve been watching for nearly 40 years and we’re seldom easy on the eye. Even our wins can be infuriating.

Stoke Tranmere at the Old Vic, seem to recall Tranmere getting a last minute winner and a very dubious decision against us. There was hell up after the game.
This and any match that Twatkinson has officiated against us.

28 March 1998, losing at home 3-0 to Tranmere, making them look like Brazil in the process. No wonder Kamara didn't manage again.
