Gillingham away, 2nd leg play off. I have never felt so angry at a match, and so were most of the stokes at the game. Rob Syiles š š š Actually I remember feeling intensely proud of the team that day - making such a fight of it in very adverse circumstances. Paul Connor hitting the post. So near. Solemnly singing in unison āweāre proud of youā in the drizzle on the open terrace after full time will forever remain one of those flashbulb football memories burned into the brain for me.

I must be a Jonah as I went to Gillingham, Millwall and there was a 0-6 away loss at QPR on a Tuesday that rather displeased me, together with some thumpings at bloody Oxford. Hillsboro was devastating, for anger I give you the ice cream seller in white at Goodison - and a battle zone on the way back to the coaches didn't help.
But it was Gillingham and Styles that still brings the red mist.

That game! Cost me 450 quid in a taxi down to aldershot to shag a bird I was on line chatting to! Despite being due in work at 8am the next morning Did you make it in work for 8am and what makes out of ten was the shag? Did I fuck was hanging out of my arse the next lunch time and rang in saying Iām stuck in London and wrote my car off so wonāt be in, then had to keep it going (how anyone can lie constantly I donāt know) and a solid 5

I was pretty furious last night to be honest but there have been plenty for various reasons. Highlights in this regard for me include; Valencia away - pre-match anger in truth. The game itself I couldn't fault the performance of the players Gillingham play-off defeat - anger towards the officials that has never really been forgiven. Rob Styles remains an absolute arse Gillingham away - Brian Little era. What a pitiful, lame arsed, gutless effort that was (add in Wrexham home, Bristol Rovers Home to that period as well) Milwall away - 2-0 defeat to 9 man Millwall. That is possibly the angriest I've ever been post-match Man City Home - can't remember if it was a cup or league match but that fat tosspot of a ref Alan Wiley proper shafted us on Ryan's late goal I'm sure there are many other occasions as well. I remember we were kept behind at Millwall as well Dave in that defeat to 9 menš And some idiots still chose to applaud them off the pitch. I proper lost it that day, with the team and fellow supporters

The last rites of Alan Ball. Wigan away. 4-0. I was working in Haydock as well at the time to make it twice as bad.

Villa at home under Pulis. Kightly equalised I think, and then they went on to beat us 1-3 with 10 mins to go. My lip came out big time and it's the one and only time I have ever left a game early in a cob.

The previous week we'd said enough was enough and we weren't going. One of our gang, otherwise known as prestwichpotter said that we should only go if we signed someone. He phoned about midday on the Friday to inform us we'd signed Collins from Villa so off we tootled down to Millwall.

Getting skewered by Liverpool at home in the cup back in 2000 or was it 2001 had me not angry but emotional.
Wigan away was it 6-1 and getting ripped apart by Forest away in Pulis's fist season was hard to take.
Man City in the Cup final was hard to take as their goal was questionable and Kenwyne fluffed up an easy one on one.
Besiktas and Valencia was below par and annoying, Pulis practically gave up and threw in the towel.

The angriest & still only time I have come away from an away day early in 40 odd years was Tottenham away at Wembley. Parked at Hillingdon & got the tube, took the good lady on day out as she had never been to Wembley which was fine. When the 4th went in I said "if they get a 5th were going...." On tube from Wembley the Tottenham fans who also left early were very generous & couldn't understand just how shit we had become (think their was also a bit of sympathy for the purchase of Wimmer) Left Hilligndon, arrived home via local Chinese take away in time for Strictly! (well that made up for the good lady watching the shower of shit on that day) Ironically photos from that day appeared on my F/B timeline today...all happy smiles before the game.

Last night was a bad night, we were awful in the first half, Cardiff were somehow worse. The penalty was a gift to win a really bad game and why o why let a man whoās confidence is obviously shot take a penalty after only being on 5 mins, surely it was one for Nick Powell. When that didnāt go in you could see Cardiff knew it was there for the taking and tickled our bellyās, I was proper pissed off

I remember a particular game at Elm Park when we were 3-1 up with a few minutes left and drew 3-3 with a Jamie Cureton goal deep into injury time which really pissed me off...... Wasnāt Elm Park but an early visit to the Madjeski. I remember when we went 3-1 up with 15 to go, my mate said to me ātake a draw?ā We both agreed we would such little faith we had in that team. Still pissed us right off when we got it though. A game for me of utter ineptitude against piss poor opponents was when we lost at Nuneaton in the cup. Took me weeks to calm down after that complete piss take. BM

I'll never forget how angry I was when we lost 0-1 to Vale under Gudjon.
It was actually the season we went up, prior to the glut of loan signings that got us over the line, but after we'd suffered a few injuries to key men. Vale weren't very good but they absolutely battered us; Stoke, as usual in those games, just didn't bother turning up, and Rikki Dadason played like an Sam Vokes after downing six bottles of Night Nurse.
Thinking about it, this was the last time we played Vale in a proper game and I still haven't got over how fucking atrocious we were.

Tend to get āguttedā or flattened by bad results rather than angry ..
Angry , one game above all others Iāve witnessed stands out head and shoulders above anything else -
Leicester 1-0 home defeat 76/7 relegation season ..frustrated with the team , but angry and disappointed with the crowd for their calling for the head and abuse of Waddo .. left the Boothen in disgust and watched the dieing moments of the game and his stay from the Boothen paddock ..he left just a few days later..I went home broken , as Iām sure the great man did
Even time and a greater understanding removing my rose tinted glasses of that era I still find it a very sad end

Yeah, that entire farce. 3 priceless points handed to us on a plate and we still couldn't take them because we were such a mess. Others that spring to mind for me... Rotherham 4-0 Stoke in about 2002. Just diabolical. Stoke 0-7 Birmingham. Enough said, although it kind of had to happen for something to change. Stoke 0-1 Derby in the league Cup quarter final 2008. Lifeless performance and then Rob Styles shafts us one last time before retirement by giving a pen for a very soft handball by Griffin in injury time. Stoke 1-3 Arsenal the Ramsey leg break game. You just knew what was coming before the game even ended and I was raging that Ryan was now suspended for our upcoming FA Cup game away at Chelsea. I wasn't at this one but home to Tottenham in the early part of 2010/11 when we 'equalised' in injury time and Crouch saved it on the line with his hands and Chris Foy bottled giving us a pen.

The Tottenham one Crouch saved it but the ball was well over the line that was the frustrating bit and spleen venting at the ref. The McNally game at Burnley. Wigan away 4-0 the anger leaving the ground but joy within half an hour hearing Ball resignation as i crossed the Thelwall Viaduct. Two in 1998 the Brum hammering then after the relegation match against Citeh.
