Seen as there's a fair few people (myself included) gutted about last night. It got me thinking what is the angriest/upset you've been walking away from watching the Potters.
Mine was losing to the Dingles in the FA Cup a few years back at the Brit. The piss taking in the pubs back in Stafford that night certainly didn't help.

Losing 2-1 at Chelsea with them scoring two in the 90th minute, kicking the seat for it to flip down into my shin pissed me off less.

Chelsea away in the premier league. Never ever felt so angry on the tube/car journey back Yeah 1 nil up with 2 minutes to play. I damaged my toe by kicking an inanimate object, like a right twat.

2 other games I remember also both at Preston,I think Cooke equalised in injury time to make it 3-3 only for Cresswell to get the winner🙄and the other one there when we were 2 up only to lose 3-2 with Nugent taking the piss as well😡😄

Like I’ve said on a few occasions there’s nothing in life like football for ups and downs and those 2 goals so late were a killer

I wasnt angry last night, just a bit cross as I thought we blew a game we were in control of with some mediocre tactics and subs
Anger....now that comes in many forms. My Facebook feed can be interesting, and I chuckle when I see them pop up in memories!
Jones after the Huddersfield 'must win' game at home made me cross why we hadnt already sacked him, a charlatan Rowett made me continually angry, I just didnt like him, the sides he picked, his negative tactics, his treatment of Bojan, I constantly ranted about wanting him gone pretty much after 5 games Lambert I didnt get cross with, I felt a bit sad for him, he had plenty of chances to keep us up, but a combo of bad luck and poor play (Butlands mistakes, Charlies pen, the abject Palace display) Hughes I was dismayed with rather than angry, that was a gradual process, but losing to Cov in the cup made me hopeful he was gone rather than angry! Pulis is probs the one. 2005 binary season was frustrating as fuck, didnt want him back, overjoyed with what he did second time round, but mixed in with some truly abject performances (Chelsea away as mentioned, but pretty much any away game was so negative 'lets get a 0-0'.
Think the angriest was probably Alan Wylie disallowing Ryans header to win the game v Man City in the last minute - was fuck all wrong with it!

That was a sickener last night but at least we know there’s a good chance of bouncing back and learning lessons from last night, unlike most of the last few seasons.

Stoke 0 Vale 1 in autoglass night match at the Vic we absolutely mullered them, Stein missed everything including a penalty 6.0 wouldn't have flattered Stoke Vale then scored from their only shot on goal (& seemingly their only attack) of all the derby games this was the one that made me the most angry I then went into the pub & played the best pool I have ever played (I am shit at pool) taking all my anger out on that
last night?
meh, annoying but not even in the top 100 defeats for annoyance

The brum game last season? With the missed handball?
I’m 23 and my hairline is already receding because of this team!! I pray for those of you 50+!
We stress a lot, but we love the aggro really!

Without doubt Valencia away that was when I lost what little respect I had for Putrid sorry Pulis. Remember waiting for him to come out of ground and gave him both barrels about having our “ pants down “ . That was a massive chance to go really far in a major European trophy but his ego got in the way.

I was pretty furious last night to be honest but there have been plenty for various reasons. Highlights in this regard for me include;
Valencia away - pre-match anger in truth. The game itself I couldn't fault the performance of the players Gillingham play-off defeat - anger towards the officials that has never really been forgiven. Rob Styles remains an absolute arse Gillingham away - Brian Little era. What a pitiful, lame arsed, gutless effort that was (add in Wrexham home, Bristol Rovers Home to that period as well) Milwall away - 2-0 defeat to 9 man Millwall. That is possibly the angriest I've ever been post-match Man City Home - can't remember if it was a cup or league match but that fat tosspot of a ref Alan Wiley proper shafted us on Ryan's late goal
I'm sure there are many other occasions as well.

I remember a particular game at Elm Park when we were 3-1 up with a few minutes left and drew 3-3 with a Jamie Cureton goal deep into injury time which really pissed me off......

It was the most one sided game of football you are ever likely see yet the spawny fuckers escaped with a result. I saw red the following morning as soon as I walked through the school doors to be confronted by some arse in his Fail shirt.

Toss up between 9 man Millwall or 9 man Stoke vs Gillingham. At least you couldn't fault the players against the Gills, so that has to lessen the anger somewhat. Still the Millwall ref did all in his power to help the worst Stoke team I will ever see take to the field. And for that, that fateful day in 1999, is probably when anger hit a new high point. I mean how shit must you be to lose 2-0 to nine men?
