1. I'm not sure anyone has ever claimed "it's only the Tories are corrupt?" 2. Innocent until proven guilty

Can't believe anyone believes only Tories are corrupt What a bizarre concept
However I do believe any government with a large majority is inevitably going to see more corruption
Personally I believe that ex Public Schoolboys are more likely to be corrupt than everyone else. But not exclusively. All parties have ex Public Schoolboys of course. Tories will always have more than most.

She’s pleaded not guilty. So nothing absolutely disgraceful - for now, and maybe not ever.

She’s pleaded not guilty. So nothing absolutely disgraceful - for now, and maybe not ever. The property is understood to be run by a housing association, but the tenants are nominated by the council. Investigators reportedly wanted to know how she got to the top of an 18,000-strong waiting list so quickly given she did not have children. Nothing to see here, the Guardian quoting the Sun about a Corbyn ally

somehow i think the apologies said through gritted teeth. So,some time ago,you referred to the actions of Apsana Begum as absolutely disgusting. She was subsequently acquitted. Have you apologised yourself, through gritted teeth,or in any other way? Out of respect for 4372 and transparency I thought I’d pull this thread up as apparently I used the word “disgusting” to describe the actions of Ms Begum (the word I actually used was “disgraceful”). Though I don’t believe commenting on an action in this way is anywhere near as bad as calling the Tory party “scum” especially when it comes from the deputy leader of the Labour party, if the lovely Ms Rayner is gracious enough to apologise for her actions then I’m more than happy to put my hands up and apologise for using the word “disgraceful” to comment on the article on what is a very public forum. To Ms Begum if she’s a poster on the Oatcake I can only add that I wasn’t aware of her being found innocent of all charges and with the thread being over a year old it had clean slipped out of my head unlike 4372’s. Apologies and good luck for the future x

This from the poster who continues to nurse a ten year old grudge over something that never actually happened in the first place; I suppose a half decent memory would help in that regard Well done on your apology, Cobham.

Apologies and good luck for the future x It's true she was found innocent of living in a council house she was not entitled too, a rather interesting defence that it was not her who applied for it but her husband in an attempt to discredit her, she did visit the flat she didnt apply for several times and of course continues to live there after moving into a flat she didnt apply for but the jury said not guilty so she isn't.

So not unlike you having to unnecessarily reference scfcbiancorossi on a completely separate thread on the other side of the board last week then 😉 Strange how your usually excellent memory skills turn to shit when we're discussing your own transgressions isn't it mate?
