Martin Boyle I’d of thought He was out of contract but ended up signing a new one. Doesn't mean it's not him but would be more expensive now. I just think it would be him as he can play right or through the middle where Jones is a straightforward right winger. Other than those 2 nobody else springs to mind

Tonight showed we have to get players in. Even with players coming back we have to get in a
Striker / wide forward with pace and goals - Vidra LB and at a push a RB

LB and striker are musts. JM just can't play the role that is being asked of him

Lyle Taylor type striker would help. He changed the game when he came on.

A striker really wouldn’t overly help us. We need a winger, or two. So we can actually start creating chances for our forwards. We currently rely on hopeful balls into the box and mistakes from the opposition.

A LWB would make a huge difference to our mobility. Someone like Pickering would retain his value. Loan a decent inside forward and we might still scrape the play offs.

Anyone know who the winger from Scotland is, we are supposed to be signing? Is it from Scotland or is Scottish? I have this feeling we might go for Snodgrass on loan for 6 months

"we won't be able to replace Tyrese in this window as it will cost too much money - and loan players of that calibre are few and far between."
MON tonight
So that might shorten this thread then!

We have problems in several areas, both full backs/wing backs, out wide, striker but please no more injury prone journeymen looking for a last payday. We need a bit of real QUALITY and preferably players who can actual pass a ball, because it's very evident many in our current squad simply can't.

I wonder if we might be tempted to bring in Daniel Sturridge to play the Campbell role?. Campbell's loss has certainly hit us hard.

Very concerned About our transfer business
Oakley , fletcher , Thomson. , Brown , Mikel
None have made a tangible difference over what we had , Mikel last Night made cousins look like Makele , Chester and fox have played but we are hardly short of centre halves .
May we’ll be FFP but the process continues to fails To deliver again and again

O’Neil clearly feels money is an issue an issue in getting the quality he needs
Solution
How about the chief executive takes a 6 month pay holiday that generates 400k in the existing model 20k a week for a forward for 5 months not bad if the owning club pays the other half as we seem to do
If the process works we get £200m in the coffers for the next tow seasons and can pay double if it doesn’t we don’t pay proper jeapordy and performance related pay .

May we’ll be FFP but the process continues to fails To deliver again and again Fletcher and Mikel have been excellent (obviously Mikel, coming back from injury, was poor and that back pass was a shocker but that's one game) Imho part of the reason the young players have flourished is those two signings.

Not just for this window. This list illustrates the size of the problem that MON faces for the next two windows at least;
Wimmer Bauer Etobo Ndaiye Afobe Lyndsay Woods Ince
Will he want to improve on the quality currently offered by;
Vokes Gregory Tymon McClean Smith Fox
It’s a bit of a sobering list. Thoughts?

We could sign Lewandoski and he’d struggle to score with the chances we create He'd have scored about 6 against Coventry. And even in last nights shit show he'd have stuck those chances Vokes had away.
