I had a good instinct about this season and week by week I'm checking points wise v our promotion season. After 12 games that season we had 20 points, scored 19 against 16. So we are 1 point ahead.
Also after 17 games that year we had 24 points and we are on 21 already. Fingers crossed 🙏

That season was one of the lower points tallies to get automatic.
Maybe this will too?
All too early though.

I have a good feeling as well. But we'd have to massively invest. This team wouldn't be anywhere close to competing in the Prem.

What I like about MON is you can see he is building something and improving us over time
We started the season rather defensively but now he is letting the brakes off and we scoring a lot of goals.
I can only see us going in one direction right now

Far to early to be thinking about promotion or comparing with 08 season lots of games to play with to many twists & turns. If we get to March & we are top 6 or even 1st or 2nd then we should possibly start to get excited.

I think play offs are a more realistic target rather than automatic promotion I just hope we can ride out the next few weeks with our keeper situation

I fancy if the top 2 tonight will the top 2 and most of the next 6 will be the play off contenders I’d take reasing out but I’d say 4 from these 5

Bournemouth...yes they are looking like a top 3 side. None of the others look any better than the five or six sides outside the play offs to me. Any of the top 12 could finish anywhere in that top 12 (other than Bournemouth)

Goals on the team Norwich because they have won course and distance recently , Watford because their vet food players , Boro because of the manager , Swansea because they are better than last year and just missed out then , leaves us and B city as the wild cards

FFP might be our undoing this season. I hope it isn't and we can make it back to the premier league just in time for the return of supporters Gouranga.

I think in general you are overestimating those sides, nothing or very little between more than those sides Brentford to factor in and probably a surprise like Millwall

Heartwarming: is the form of Campbell, the potential of Clucas, Powell, Fletcher coming into full form and if we could get Allen back and in form too, we are a threat. Also some of the youngsters coming through particularly TOB and Souttar
Heartbreaking: The defence - been catastrophic for years and nothing ever changes and now we are in a position where we can't change it.
We have absolutely no chance of promotion - the promotion team was built on solid foundations and a strong defence, this team will need to score at least 3 to get a result against the better teams

I said we would be 15th if we lost and that would be our rightful position We produced two great results and are now equally where we deserve to be I ask said with Allen clucas and Davies back We’d improve

If we can stay in and around the top few places come Jan then who knows. Players will return from injury and we can add a bit more quality.

Thoughts?

We've got nothing to fear in this league. We've got goals in us, and we got clean sheets in us.
I think we'll finish top 6 minimum, and with a bit of luck top 2.
MON is the mon.

I think we underestimate how much he organises the defence and coaches younger players with quiet words. After what MON said yesterday I'm optimistic.

We have as good a chance as anybody. We look like we can create chances every game and score goals BUT the most important thing is we have a chairman who can make it happen with a couple of good signings in January
