They are not the only ones doing similar, is my understanding
I recently saw a set of terms and conditions from a retailer - I forget who - but it said that if you sold a product lower to another customer you had to give them that price within 90 days
So like John Lewis slogan - never knowingly undersold - the retailer wanted the lowest price even after 90 days after they had purchased
So imagine you sell a product to Retailer A for £50, but 2 months later, you sell it to Retailer B for £45 - you know owe £5 to Retailer A
Similarly there are retailers who have issued documentation saying that any tariffs payable as a result of brexit are yours to pay, even if they are located in the country where the tariff is due
Question is, how many more cases are going unchallenged?
