I will never be convinced that the subs were anything other than fucking mental. But I guess that's why I'm sitting at home drinking extremely dry white wine and O'Neil is managing Stoke! Get on the Shiraz

Great win that. No howlers from Bursik but it did feel like he was being protected. When’s Davies back. We really miss him. Great last 20 mins from Batth saw us home.

If we win by two goals on Tuesday and have a weird set of results elsewhere, we could go top. We would actually only need to win 1-0 to go above Norwich as we've scored more goals than them and we'd be tied on GD and points. There you go then, easy peasy To be fair I've not looked at the other fixtures on Tuesday either.

Bubbling under the playoff places nicely under the radar after that win 👍

Considering for large parts we are a very average team, we are doing really well. I think we miss Allen big time and can see why he plays 3 centre halves, with 2 we look absolutely wide open. Bursik did ok, really didn't have much to do..Could say was at fault for their third, but was a really good delivery. Quite impressed with Huddersfield.

Definitely in the last 20 minutes. I think they dropped a yard deeper than they normally would when defending set pieces that's for sure....

Sometimes is "Misery" Tyrese scores hes a real "Talisman" and we are in "Joylands" I guess it's just "Different seasons" partly due to our full backs occupying "Dead zones". But you can't argue MON has been part of our "Revival" you cant say 4:3 is a cure for "Insomnia" though. Smith sometimes looks like a "Bag of bones" when he's defending it's just "Desperation" you'll probably accuse me of being one of the "Tommyknockers". When we went down it was "Full dark, no stars" let's just put "the Dark half" behind us now, hopefully "The sleeping beauties" in the back four wake up and no one takes "the Long walk". Clucas is the one who looks "the outsider" at the moment but that goal shows he can be a "firestarter" I'm sure we will win this at "The end of watch" I came up with a few corker replies but you've literally used every title of his Finders Keepers, I suppose.

That’s an excellent result and the manager earned his stripes and got away with one only in the sense he beat bad luck two keepers and your player of the year missing is just bad luck but he rode it out ,my take was we lost something in midfield with clucas and Mikel clucas i love as the goal showed but he’s better. In the top of the pitch than holding
We missed McLean as we always do and will badly on Tuesday they are ideal for him as they aren’t so keen on the rough and tumble
Big thing for the manager now is what he does ,keeper was poor on at least one if not two . Midfield was overrun that can’t happen Tuesday without it leading to defeat so it’s a different game plan and probably different personally or formation required . We’ll really need a proper holder Thomson I’d fit or cousins alongside Mikel and build from there .Browm for me can’t start

I was impressed with them on the ball, the manager wants them to play a way that some of the defenders aren't quite capable of playing but I can see them causing lots of teams problems.....

I feel physically sick - I hate being a Stoke fan. Wish I was born in Leamington Spa 🙄 A good mate of mine scored a last minute 4-3 winner for them last time out! 7 goal thrillers either way

Certainly him and Clucas are too lumbering over short distances. Brown is much better as an impact sub with space to run into.

Three at the back midweek please. It almost certainly will be, there’s no way we’ll play that open against Norwich. That could be the last we see of a back four for a while. Yeah, that's been my worry about playing 4 at the back, our defenders aren't good enough. Its exactly the same with England.

Don’t see it sorry. First goal again he’s not tracking. He’s been ok but really do think it’s been all about the front 3 again. Mikel is not great defensively, doesn’t do the hard yards. Nowhere to be seen for both of their first two goals. Him And Clucas didn’t work, both lumbering. Missed Thompson for the defensive shape he gives us

I'm worried about Norwich on Tuesday. Nothing to do with the match itself, more to do with the fact that Farke has a really massive head and reminds me of Frank Sidebottom

Shows what a difference a good gk makes Eh? I think that’s a goal whoever is in. Sorry quoted the wrong one. Should have been a quote about the defence looking more shaky than they have in a long time. Took my eye off here to look at the match. Won't try to quote during the match again!
