We don't need another slow start after a break and do need to keep up our momentum.
But we don't manage to put wins together and Huddersfield have conceded nearly as many as us and they are going to be hard to break down with our lack of creativity.
Hopefully we can go with a settled team and bring in Clucus at some point.

I share your natural pessimism but the facts suggest we did well immediately after last break in October - 2-0 at Luton, shit 1-1 draw Brum then beat Brentford. I'd take 7 from our next 3..

Missing McLean will be a huge blow for these three games , power , work rate and attitude like his simply dint exist in his potential replacements , if we are missing clucas too we are badly exposed on that side

Interesting game ahead against a team that will have all the Bielsa traits from what I gather having seen and read up on their pressing game.Already won at Millwall and Swansea so no easy game

I refuse to believe that any team with Frazier Campbell in it is anything other than beatable..... de True but trumped by the fact that Recent history suggests there is no team so bad we can’t lose to them even Huddersfield last year who hasn’t won since the last pandemic . Nice to see your on the mend though .

I hope the manager’s not tempted to play Fox on the left to replace McClean.

It seems like years since Reading game...no news about injuries so I'm assuming Clucas and Thompson not ready. McClean is out too. 4-2-1-3
Gunn Bursik
Smith Batth Souttar Fox
Mikel Cousins
Powell
Brown Fletcher Campbell
Subs - everyone fit pretty much.

Surely Tymon will be back in the starting XI either next to Mikel or Left-wing (back)

Perfect opportunity to play 4231 with all the injured.
Bursik Collins Batth Souttar Fox Mikel Cousins/Tymon Campbell Powell Tymon/Verlinden Fletcher
Gives Smith an extra weeks break on the bench. I dislike Collins at RB but believe it will be MON's go to thingy

Bursik
Smith Souttar Batth Fox
Cousins Mikel
Campbell Powell Brown
Fletcher
Is a bloody good side and tbh a better balanced central midfield than we've had all season.
Obvious worry of Bursik in goal but we've got to trust him.
And Brown on the left won't be ideal but he's more than capable of playing well there.
It'll be fine.

It gives Mikel more room to do what he's good at and play football. Campbell has been the player on the month on the right, why would you change that? Who's my man crush?

Campbell is naturally left footed and he’s scored goals and assisted on the left already this season. If anything, he’s probably better from the left. Collins is your man crush

It'll be fine. he played Campbell on the left the other week, went well enough, think he would do that however Verlinden might be an option (would have though he'd be on bench before going straight in the side though or Tymon on the left in more of a 442 suspect he will go wing backs though

He hasn’t got a choice but to “fuck around” has he? Due to illness and a catalogue of injuries he’s going to have to make at least three changes before he even considers anything tactical.

I was just on about switching Campbell over which seems pointless. Jesus wept. I think people are overplaying the injuries too tbh. There's not that many bar in the goalkeeping area. Cousins and Mikel is indeed an improvement of the midfield of recent weeks.

You'd think Bursik - but just wonder whether they may go with Blondy who they know better and have worked with?
