If your body's feelin' bad, and it's the only one you have You want to take away the pain, go out walkin' in the rain Watch the flowers go to bed, ask the man inside your head Your spirit never has to grieve, all ya got to do's believe Naked a sin An army towel, covering my belly Some of us weep, some of us howl Knees turn to jelly, but Next! Next! I was just a child A hundred like me I followed a naked body A naked body followed me, Next! Next! I was just a child when my innocence was lost In a mobile army whorehouse A gift of the army, free of cost. Next! Next! Next!

I never felt magic crazy as this I never saw moons knew the meaning of the sea I never held emotion in the palm of my hand Or felt sweet breezes in the top of a tree But now you're here Brighten my northern sky It's a shame I can't give more than one like.

Garden Party held today, invites call the debs to play,
Social climbers polish ladders, wayward sons again have fathers,
Edgy eggs and queueing cumbers, rudely wakened from their slumber,
Time has come again for slaughter on the lawns by still Cam waters

Is it worth it? A new winter coat and shoes for the wife. And a bicycle on the boy's birthday. It's just a rumour that was spread around town.

I’ve got about 22 favourite Eagles songs but if I really had to pick one... Surely this one. One of these nights One of these crazy old nights We're gonna find out Pretty mama What turns on your lights The full moon is calling The fever is high And the wicked wind whispers And moans You got your demons And you got desires Well, I got a few of my own That’s one of the 22!

When your girlfriend asks you 'round to her house and you meet her folks And they say that your hair's too long and you're not their kind of bloke They grab you by the collar and they throw you through the door: You don't have to be in the army to fight in the war

I watch the distant lights go down the runway
Disappear into the evening sky
Oh you know I'm with you on your journey
Never could say goodbye
And you awaken in another country
Greet the morning under foreign skies
Leaving me to face another Monday
It's not easy to get by

Felonious, my old friend
Step on in and let me shake your hand
So glad that you're here again for one more time
Let your madness run with mine
Streets still unseen, we'll find somehow
No time is better than now

A struck match faded like a nervous laugh Beyond the halo of a naked bulb And your low voice mingles with your other half's
School friends in second-hand clothes Eventually your world will shrink within 4 walls Of neglected debts and stolen stereos

Shirley this is another one... On a dark desert highway Cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas Rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night So iconic.

Yes that’s certainly another one of the 22! And the chord sequence to Hotel California is remarkably similar to the 1969 Jethro Tull track We Used To Know. Worth a listen if you’ve never heard it. The resemblance is uncanny.

Had tickets to see him in Buxton in May but unfortunately it’s been cancelled not postponed. It was more a talk show I think than a traditional JT show. I’ve seen JT several times over the years so wanted to try something a bit different. He’s good at doing different things other than just the standard JT show, great as that is. Saw him do an orchestral gig many years ago in Croydon and more recently a Christmas concert in Chester Cathedral. His voice is not what it was but the flute playing and banter between songs are still top class.

Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain
He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fooks
Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein
