What about oysters, then, Alsy? You seem to share choice-of-menu favourite things with Chuff........ PS: Octopus, squid, oysters..... ..... ('Scuse me, )I'll be honest I've never tried them. Very wise!

Eat salad in any form whatsoever.
I was pretty much 'forced' into eating it at the place we went to when we first joined up.
The queues for the slop they had the temerity to call lunch were so long sometimes that it could easily take up most of the lunch hour just to get your food.
Salads were left already prepared and you could just pick one up, still crap but at least it was easy to get.

Badge was asking this a few days ago on another thread --- from memory I think he wanted a nice one under £10 and I think it might have been on the Blood Pressure thread - O.N.O. TIA! A tall glass of ice-cold cider on a hot day is a delight & I always used to have a load of ice in it. I wish I could still enjoy one, but I'm afraid the psychologicals after Ulcergate in August last year put paid to all that alcohol stuff, worse luck.

Oh, c'mon, Eels - you need to eat some salad every day, or at least a few times every week, for your insides' sake... What about Greek Salad with a deeee-lish olive oil dressing? I bet you'd love it. Have some delicious crunchy baguette with it to take away the taste of the salad if you must, but at least eat the salady stuff. There are all sorts of different salads, and many of those I make, along with many other superb recipes, tips and hints, are featured in my two best-selling - and indeed prizewinning - celebrity cookbooks 'Murph's Cuisines du Monde' and its acclaimed follow-up 'At Home in the Kitchens of Château Murph'. Printed in 62 languages so far. Autographed copies available. Both available from Amazon apart from when they've sold out. Go for it, sunbeam.

I don't mind it nowadays, especially with chips and mayonnaise, really tho what someone needs to do is breed a lettuce that tastes like chocolate, a tomato that tastes like caramel and a cucumber that tastes like biscuit. I think we'll all be a lot healthier once that's sorted

Very underrated. I used to try and find an excuse to get it onto all the wine lists I put together. With some success. 🙂

Wanting to speak a foreign language because I like travelling a lot (I hated French lessons at school). Make fudge that tastes almost as good as Roly's (but still goes wrong now and again, and I can't fathom why). Enjoy watching a programme that heavily features fishing (Paul & Bob). Walk for days with everything I need to live inside my backpack.
