Massive Bond fan hence the username, sad news at the passing of Sean Connery.Met many Bond stars at different 007 conventions i've attended over the years and he was the one i most wanted to meet in real life but never got the chance as he did very few Bond conventions.By far the biggest star of the franchise. RIP.

You Only Live Twice and From Russia With Love are my two favourites.
He was also perfect as Indy's dad.

Apparently he was offered the role of Gandalf in Lord of the Rings before Ian McKellan and was offered a quarter of the global cinema takings to sign up. He turned it down as he didn't understand what it was about.
(Having said that, McKellan was born to play Gandalf)

So much more to his career than Bond Man who would be King is my favourite Was only watching Hell Drivers just the other night - what a stellar British cast, so good that SC, Sid James and Patrick McGoohan were only supporting actors. Zardoz is well overdue a showing too. Also liked SC in Outland.
