Who’d take Rooney as our next Gaffer? He’d have some great contacts, players would want to play for him from his playing reputation he’s got, he’s got a winning mentality, I doubt he’d take any shit either from so called star players. No thanks. Rooney and O'Neill inherited similar situations and O'Neill's PPG were much better to take us to safety....... Rooney
W 1 D 3 L 9 6 Pts PPG 0.66 W 10 D 7 L 14 37 Pts PPG 1.19 O'NeillW 2 D 2 L 11 8 Pts PPG 0.53 W 14 D 6 L 11 48 Pts PPG 1.55 Over the same time frame of Rooneys reign, the PPGs are: Rooney 1.19 MON 0.85 ...and they have Greggers aswell! Ouch.

Then again, does he really like him or like him for the restrictions they are under? Whether they can afford him long term will remain to be seen.

So they’re not good owners to have then🤔 In the last 5 years they've been appalling and have overseen rapid decline, coupled with a weird fixation with only considering managers from a small group of islands. So I'm not overly enthused, no.

Derby County fans would snap your hand off for owners like the Coates family and I’d imagine the majority of the clubs in football would also.Yes they’ve made mistakes in managerial appointments but as owners of a football club i don’t think many Stokies would want foreign owners again

I'm surprised we have restaurants around here that have managed to stay open despite not offering a British menu of steak and ale pie or Hunter's Chicken 😄 The Icelanders weren't perfect but they saved a club in freefall under the previous Coates regime. I wouldn't have ruled out a debut in the fourth tier the way things were heading in the late 90s. It's interesting that under the Coates family we've had 10 seasons in the top flight but seven in the 3rd tier- the majority of time at that level in our history. And a gnat's fart away from making it an eighth season last year. It's all relative. Of course The Family are better than the current circus at Pride Park but I don't think you'll get too many Leicester fans wanting John Elsom to come back and replace the Thais even if he is as British as fish and chips 😎

Fair enough but it’s still fair to say we were the architects of our own downfall with that one and it would probably be wise not to repeat the process with the rest of the family !

I think she was in the box when stoke fans stormed it after the Birmingham game and she begged her dad to walk away from the club but luckily for us he stayed!

Derby is as noxious as a hot curry fart. The male goat silhouette on their logo sucks. For God's sake, do the head of a really mean-looking ram or something. Go outside Derby and find someone who can actually draw. Other than that, their fans....well there's only so much that can be fixed...
We don't need another club failure, they need to get this sorted. (As they are aware)

Isn't this normal? Or just put the debt onto the club like Burnley? (Or so I believe).
