I'd want to curl up and die if they ever became huge like Citeh.
I remember late 70's early 80's the so called big 6 were:- Man U Liverpool Forest Arse Spurs Everton.
The likes of Chelsea and Citeh were very much also ran run of the mill.

Theoretically of course, Derby being purchased by rich owners should make no difference in terms of FFP rules.
Or do those rules only apply when its Stoke City that wants to spend its owners cash?
I'm sure if the purchase goes through you will find some creative 'sponsorship' deals happening.........

Perhaps Derby could have a new stadium built and then sell it on at a huge profit to some Arab front company for redevelopment.

Local Radio are saying because of the high profile players/managers that have been attracted to the club of late🤔 The laughable thing is they can’t spend it anyway because of FFP

I remember him playing for Sunderland! You must be even older than me 1962 I was 6 and can't even remember much about Stoke Saw him play two matches at Roker Park when he came back after breaking his leg. They played Villa then West brom. I was working up there for a couple of weeks as a young man. He was a cracking Centre Forward.

Season 61-62. Stoke resigned Stanley Matthews, and Liverpool were still in the second division.

Great, another peer club leaving us behind. I’m not entirely sure how it will help them unless FFP is ditched. Presumably they can invest in the infrastructure of the club if it’s owned by a different company but not the playing side. So I fail to see how they’re going to leave us behind any time soon. Unless I’m missing something?

In fact I reckon we’d never have been relegated without one eye on the possible effects of FFP.

If so, I hope your confidence is justified. We don’t need things making any more difficult!
