I have no real beef with WBA but I really hope fat Sam gets them relegated...it would teach the chairman a lesson

After all the Baggies claims of playing real football & Stoke are long-ball thugs, going back to the Macari days, I find it highly amusing that if appointed, Allardyce would mean that they have employed the two Dark Lords Of Anti-Football in the last few years!

How fickle clubs are. He got them back in EPL and then sack him. Main problem being that they had no momentum when they won promotion and have done little so far. Harsh after getting a point at the Etihad! For their last 20 games of last season, they were only 7th in the form table. We were one above them in 6th! That shows it was only WBA’s early season form that got them promoted. For a Board to have confidence in a manager, they need to see consistency. I don’t actually rate Bilic. He seems a bit soft-skinned, and he failed at West Ham.

If they get Fat Sam in they are going to expect safety and won't grow. Bilic will have allowed them to establish but you can't establish with constant change. Their chairman will learn his lesson after this

Their best manager in recent years, in footballing terms, was probably Tony Mowbray. We will see what he has to offer on Saturday.

I am really surprised big Sam as agreed to take the job they must be paying mega bucks to tempt him out of retirement. Always thought he would have been a good fit for us at one time.

When will chairman and football in general realise that the game has now moved on from the likes of Pulis and Allardyce. Their style of play is so prehistoric and will not wash anymore in the current game. Gone are the days when players bigger and stronger could out muscle the smaller players, nowadays the slightest physical touch is classed as a foul. As much as I dislike the man , you have to look at what Lampard has achieved and also Gerrard to a lesser extent., playing modern day football.

Allardyce is a very good manager and in different circumstances would be seen as a very good appointment.
Harsh on Bilic. I like him and baggies supporters seem to like him as well. Seems a decent manager to me.

Poor show from Allardyce in my eyes....not for taking the West From job, but if he had just waited a little longer he could have been appointed at The Arse & relegated them instead.

That's why he ruled out ever joining Wolves.

Allardyce's first job in a few years surely? Does he still have it?
I'm not sure why WBA are being criticised for sacking him tbh. He's nothing exceptional and they're sat in the relegation zone after nearly half the season.
Got them promoted, yes. But did his absolute utmost to nearly bottle it and they just about chugged over the line.

Can we hide MON for a couple of weeks? Best thing you could do is go and get Bilic if he’s available and play some good football for a change and get promoted. Madness if he’s sacked, got an impossible job there having not been backed what dya mean play some good football for a change we're the nutz

I see a good quiz question for the future here.
