I might just be getting a tad ahead of myself but if the bookies are to believed (🤪) they’ve got us down to play Norwich in the home leg first. Currently you can get shorter odds for Brentford, Watford, Bournemouth and Norwich in that order with Stoke 5th favourites at c5/1 and Reading to finish 6th. That means Brentford and Watford would go up automatically. After beating Norwich we should be playing and beating Bournemouth in the richest club game in the world at Wembley. Anyone who doesn’t agree with these quite predictable sequence of events must simply be a Vale fan.

Us Vs Norwich in the final, 2-2 after 90 minutes. It came to me towards the end of last season :)

Without wanting to sound like a miserable negative twat - let's not get carried away eh. We've just won our first home game of the season (and nearly threw that away). We are nowhere near as bad as we were under Jones but we still aren't play-off or promotion candidates IMHO. Sit back relax and let's hope we can push on towards a top 6 or even a top 2 spot, just as long as we don't have such a turgid season as the last 2 we can say there's been progress. Gouranga.

Talking of Norwich. 2 seasons ago they pissed this league ending up with 94 points. After 7 games they were 16th with 8 points.
It’s way too early to know how we’re going to do this season.
