It really isn’t. Collins should have had 30 games last season. A lot have recall clauses and if ours didn’t then more fool the club. Was it that soon with Verlinden? It’s felt like a waste of 12 months with them for me. But I’m just glad they’re finally being used. Because they are the hope here. How many times did you personally watch Souttar playing for Fleetwood last season to know that that he was ready to come back and play for us? To say Collins should have played 30 games, instead of the 17 he did play is just needless nit picking. MON has handled him to a tee so far. It's not at all. It's a big difference and how many of those 17 were starts? He should have started at least 30 games for us last season.

He did nothing in his appearances last season to justify being a regular starter and our relegation scrap simply wasn’t suited for a rookie in such a key position. I’m still waiting for you to tell me how many times you personally watched Souttar last year to enable you to come to the conclusion that he was ready to come back and play for us?

He showed more than enough with his leadership skills etc. I didn't but he was getting rave reviews and it was clear he had outgrown that loan. Hence why it was so ridiculous people wanted to loan him out this time around!
