I’ve thought since day one that if you can get the ball to Campbell in dangerous areas, then he will be a major threat & a real asset.
What he’s added to his game is some real quality in setting up others & there’s still much more to come. He’s a class player.
I find it puzzling that so many on this board do seem to pick fault with him. He’s a young lad still who’s shown more quality than many of our multi million pound signings put together.
We don’t need him running himself into the ground, chasing lost causes. He needs to save himself for where he can make a real impact & let him be a match winner.
First name on the team sheet for me & we should build our team around him.

Before the last 2 games he always seemed too one footed.
Quality player, wouldn't be surprised if we're asked some uncomfortable questions when the transfer window opens.
Also 4 assists.

4 assists, 2 goals in last 3 games. Him and fletcher look a real good partnership. 1st time this season we looked a genuine threat going forward. James McLean

Campbell was being played in that Fletcher role at times and he isn't that kind of hardworking striker who can boss a centre back .We saw at Huddersfield what he can do wider and as you say, playing off Fletcher is starting to work. his crossing is pretty impressive also as well as his finishing. He wasn't getting into those positions playing more central

Campbell’s name pops up all the time as a scorer or as an assist. Has more on games than off.

He is quality on the ball
And despite being left footed seems to be using his right more and more
Which is making him look even better.
If he can improve his work off the ball and throw his weight around more , off the ball , he could be some player .
Still , he's very impressive for his age .

How come you can't bring yourself to like him? I do like him, what makes you think I don’t? Because in the summer you kept saying he needed to prove whether he's a good player or not, despite the fact he's just had a breakthrough season with us, and then your veiled criticism there, do you think he only plays well in big games? He scored a peach against barnsley the other night as well

I also said I hope he proves me wrong and has a good season. Also if you don’t mind me saying, I think he performs better against the better teams. It’s an opinion and not a negative opinion, what do you think?

Excellent start to the season and from the start of this game, more urgency defending from the front excellent stuff. Still plenty to work on but we're as good as anyone is this league. With Clucas, Allen and Verlinden to come its very promising.

Certainly shades of Fuller for his goal. Getting better each week.

His best is yet to come. He's going to be massive if he isn't held back over petty concerns over durasbility.
His best is yet to come and I hope it comes while he's still a Stokie.

Thought he was excellent today but even within that, think he has so much to improve on, which is actually quite frightening.
He still doesn't use his frame as well as he could, which for me is only a matter of time as he gets more experienced.
When he does, christ.

He scored a peach against barnsley the other night as well to be fair so did I and a few others including MON. Wasn't doubting he was a good player but parts of his game needed improving hugely to be a decent striker at this level and he's still getting better and being played for me in a position that suits him better. His fitness still and issue and can be casual as we saw today but his positives certainly outweigh that. Harsh to fault him after today to be fair. His finishing is excellent really is turning into a quality player at this level, can see him getting 15 goals plus

It's certainly the best week he's had since he burst through.
Two brilliantly taken goals - the second of which was really special and a finish that wouldn't look out of place on a Harry Kane highlight reel.
And even more surprisingly, yet welcome, is his three assists. Two of which were sublime crosses that show just how important him and Fletcher will be if we are to get anywhere this season.
Can't wait to see what he does this season, I'm thinking 15 goals and hopefully more!

He had no right to score from that position with his weaker right foot as well. Love his confidence and how he backs himself always to score.
Never passes back and always looking for a positive impact on the game (Ince take notice). Lovely crosses on him for Fletcher.
People were saying he should be dropped or rotated a couple of games ago. NO WAY. He needs to start every game because he makes things happen

Mirror... I’d say out of every club in the Premier League, Burnley would be his least likely destination. I bet we pay him more now than they would.

His finishing is very impressive I must say. The way he cuts in and side foots his shots across the keeper is top flight quality.

He'll be worth 25 million plus next summer so no point selling him to Burnley, no chance will they be willing to stump up a decent fee
