Barnsley away last season was another but this was also top top drawer That spurs game was phenomenal. As mentioned simmo was inspired by whelans goal set of one of the best mentals I've ever been involved in. Fans went nuts.

Did I see Lennon just walk off the pitch and go down the tunnel and they played the last part of the game with 10 men?

Barnsley away last season was another but this was also top top drawer Still got the scars from that mental. I loved Simmo and was gutted for him when his form fell apart towards end of our promotion season. This game was his redemption.

I’ve always said that if Simmo didn’t make that double save against Cardiff on the opening day, we wouldn’t have got promoted. That save set the tone for the rest of the season.

When you have a Riccy Fuller in your team, it doesn't matter who you are playing against you've always got a chance.
Best player at stoke in my lifetime by a long way

When you have a Riccy Fuller in your team, it doesn't matter who you are playing against you've always got a chance. Best player at stoke in my lifetime by a long way I always loved seeing him come onto the pitch. Lost count of the number of times he came on and turned games round. Villa away in our first season up being a prime example. He didn't score but it was a totally different game once he was on the pitch, which led to the 2-2 final result.

Ten years in the prem and this was the only away win against any of the top six - 60 games! Beat liverpool away in a cup semi, does that not count? And weren't Everton top six when we beat them a couple of times on their own patch?

The mental that day was second to none I ended up about three Rows in front and my old man about three throws behind. Fucking brilliant!
