The linesman on the same side as the camera made two big wrong decisions that really cost us yesterday! 1. He flagged for offside when Campbell and Powell broke through in the first half with only one defender between them. Looked like a very promising opportunity, and Campebell must have been at least a yard onside! 2. Making sure Collins was sent off which also must have been a wrong decision as it was rescinded.

There was also a moment late on where they played a ball over top and had two players that looked an absolute mile offside, of course there was no flag.

Campbell clearly arked his run to stay onside, really poor decision.

The only decision that cost us last night was three man central defence at home v Barnsley

Several Stoke "defenders" deciding not to bother tackling/doing something for their 1st.

Stoke fans have to be up their with Liverpool as the most precious bunch of professional victims sometimes. A couple of decisions go against us in a league we know has a consistently pretty poor standard of officiating and people are claiming match fixing?! Where were the allegations of corruption and match fixing when we benefited from a dodgy red card at Preston a few weeks ago?

There were some strange off-side decisions last night for sure. The Campbell one was just plain weird as the camera's had him well on-side, but not nearly as strange as the one a minute later when 2 of the Barnsley players were an absolute mile off. It was also the linesman that stitched up Collins
That said Barnsley were miles better than us and must have felt robbed that they did not get the win. The sending off was a blessing as we looked stronger defensively after Collis went - but even with 11 we never had a decent period in the game - we were just under the cosh from start to finish and quite frankly looked all over the place

Each club marks the referee. The PGMOL review every controversial or overturned decision. So there is a lot of quality control in place. Sometimes officials get demoted if performance is regularly not up to scratch.

We rode our luck, but had enough chances to win 3 games.

Preston away, the red card for their winger was a shocker and enebled us to win the game. Without doubt, the Collins decision was a shocker too but, just maybe it’s levelled it’s self out?

One of the linesmen should really not be given another chance in the Championship before next year in my opinion. Thought his decisions were dubios through most of the game.

The throw in leading to Barnsley’s opening goal looked like a foul throw. I’m sure if fans had been in they would have done their bit to alert the officials to it.
