Can’t beat the old Hammer Horror movies. Also a mention for Carrie, The Omen and the Exorcist. Went watch The Nun couple of years ago pretty tame in comparison.

Midsommer was good.
A Swedish Wicker Man, but nothing wrong with that.

It's more a series than a film, but I'm looking forward to the remake of The Stand. Quite topical too, given Covid.

My mate Ben who had a famous acting mother got down to the last 2 or 3 to p-lay Damien in The Omen but even he accepted that he couldn't come close.

Yeah most of them are quite subtle but they are good little connections. Would love see some Richard Laymon brought to the big screen or tv but they are quite hardcore horror books. On an aside bbc America is making a tv series adapted from terry pratchetts discworld books and it looks an absolute abomination and should not even be mentioned in the same breath as discworld or terry pratchett.

I've seen some of the Discworld adaptions made already, I wasn't overly impressed.

They are decent a they could get as it’s hard to portray the essence of the books on screen but this is something beyond shit if your a fan of the books
