Anything that doesn't fit into my own narrow tastes or that is predominantly enjoyed by people younger than I am. (am I doing this right?) I know sarcasm when I see it😀 How about some musical acts that annoy you? There must be some🤔 Out of all those mentioned so far in this thread it's Sheeran that annoys me the most. Not because he's especially offensive; he and his output are so fucking bland and 'meh' that it enrages me. Music for people who don't actually like music and buy all their albums from fucking Tesco. Your mum likes Ed Sheeran and that's testament to how uninspiring he is. That said, Ed Sheeran's UK promoter is a very good friend of mine and has become very wealthy off the back of his 'success' and as I quite like playing tennis at his promoters house in the South East I'm going to wish the ginger prick enjoys many more years of album sales and sell out tours 🤣 (also, anyone who thinks Depeche Mode are shit is clearly a massive paedophile).

I don't know which artiste is responsible, but the song "Let’s Marvin Gaye and get it on", is ARSE Gravy!

Dua Lipa - Sounds like she’s polished off a couple of crack pipes before “singing” I'd fucking smash her until just dust was coming out though 😂

Just listening to the radio and a song by Huey Lewis and the News came on. I immediately lunged for the remote as I can’t listen to one second of any of their songs. So which music artists really irritate people and why? Frankie Goes to Hollywood - "Relax" worst piece of music ever made

How can I explain this one?🤔 Classic songs that are covered by dreary, whiny suicidal sounding singers (usually ladies). First one that springs to mind is an advert for the Renault Clio with the two lesbians that grow up together featuring Wonderwall sang by as described above. I must admit I'm generally a sucker for a classic cover and a fan of suicidal ladies but have to concede to you on this one

Rap - should just be called Crap Michael Jackson Paul Weller The Smiths / Morrissey Dua Lipa - why the hell is she apparently so "popular" Rag'n'Bone Man Stormzy - crap Ed Sheeran - James Blunt - woeful Going back more years Depeche Mode - absolutely detested them Stevie Wonder Barry White - plus all the other "Sound of Philadelphia" artists Spandau Ballet plus many, many more ! No accounting for taste is there? Dua Lipa is popular because she's fucking ace.

Middle aged white men (I'm presuming) don't get hip hop music?.. That's a massive fucking surprise You presume wrong. I’m early 30s and think modern music is awful compared to rap, hip hop or r’n’b from the 90s and 00s. I’d consider myself to have quite a broad taste in music and listen to stuff from the 50s all the way through to the present. In my opinion the auto tuned stuff being churned out at present is dire and I just can’t get along with it. Has anyone thrown jazz into the ring yet? I can’t help but admire the musicians but don’t particularly enjoy the output.

Pretty much all of the modern main stream stuff that relies heavily on auto tune. If you can't sing or hold a note YOU'RE IN THE WRONG FUCKING JOB! 😡 For me it just sounds like a computer singing, only band that should be allowed to do this is Kraftwerk as they invented it.

Middle aged white men (I'm presuming) don't get hip hop music?.. That's a massive fucking surprise Bit of a daft statement, can we have one thread that doesn't get politicised? I like soul, disco, funk, house (including the early Chicago stuff), drum and bass and UK garage- all of which had strong black influences. I like some 80s/90s US hip hop and R&B, but this new UK drill rap is fucking awful, and that's based on the music alone rather than the stories I've read about some drill rappers and drug dealing. Some groups just naturally gravitate to certain music genres more than others- I've never seen many black people at indie or rock nights for instance.

Guns n' Roses after Appetite for Destruction, when they turned into Bon Jovi. Billie Eilish: instantly forgettable muzak. Worst Bond song ever. I’ve got to accompany my daughter to the next Eyelash gig! Can’t wait☹️ Take a Sodoku.

One of my best mates is black and plays guitar in a band.. just saying I'd also argue drill music isn't rap/hip-hop either, it's shite, like the mumble rap phenomenon is. Like in any genre you'll get good and bad. I was referring more to the numerous posts stating rappers were talentless which I don't agree with. I'd suggest Kendrick Lamar has more talent in his backside than most of the acts I've seen mentioned.
