No it can be 1,2 or 3 in an appeal depending on the perceived severity. Assume the fact he slipped helped him But in a game you would get sent off for that for a violent/excessive force/whatever the word is tackle and that's a 3 game ban. If you think they slip then you don't get sent off surely? They're different things bayern. Violent conduct is a three-game ban. A tackle which is reckless and/or uses excessive force can be one game. A slip is maybe indicative of the intention behind the "conduct" but it doesn't reduce the force of the tackle. I know reds are generally given three games (I can't really elaborate on why that is) but the decision on this tackle is perfectly in accordance with the rules and guidelines.
