What is it with him? He was very poor today and seems to struggle to get going after any kind of break. Poor after lockdown and then found his feet again after a few games and poor so far this season after the break.
Needs to hit some form or it can’t be long before Tymon is given a go over him... missed an absolute great chance today too

Yeah thought clucas was pretty poor overall today.
He’s becoming the new Allen.

Tymons was a more difficult chance as he had sprinted 60 yards to create the chance..

Was poor today but harsh to criticise his finishing as his record is excellent.

Clucas was excellent in covering Our LWB at least 4 times in the first half.
He may not have had his shooting boots on, but he did the other stuff as well as anyone today.
I don’t blame him Or JMC today either today for being below average, the system doesn’t suit either.

His shooting hasn't been the same since he broke his foot at Barnsley, and he has actually more than hinted at that in an interview since. Just wish I could find it.

Hes made 2 backpasses this season that could and should have lead to goals.
He slid in for a tackle today and made pass of the game for Preston to run through on to.
I swear sometimes he forgets which way he is playing

He has been a good player for us so we will let him have that one. One of the few players we have who can stick it it the onion bag and we need him firing if we want to avoid a struggle again - shocking performance today though

He’s one of the few class players we have. Just having a dip. When he’s firing the goal count will shoot up

Are we really knocking Sam Clucas Jesus fucking wept Granted I only watched 2nd half but I thought he played well. Forced keeper into a good save and looked pretty assured. Only criticism is he should have scored, as should a few others. Strange bunch at times on here. We've won on a ground where we tend to lose and everyone contributed to that victory, subs included. Today has been a great day. My eldest scored and assisted 3 in his game, my youngest was amazing and added 2 more penalty saves to his scrap book, Stoke won and Burnley lost. Oh and the mighty fail managed a plucky draw v the might of Harrogate Town. We'll be up there come the end of the season. When we find our form and fitness, we'll be as good as anyone in this league.

Clucas hasn't started the season well but he showed last season that he is one of our best players; i expect a return to form pretty soon.

I’m not convinced yet by Mikel, but there’s no denying that he has been an excellent player. If he can raise his game by 15%, I think he could be a godsend. 3 games in he’s okay but nothing special- played a lovely ball today, was non -existent against Bristol, where their pass and move left him for dead. He could make the season, or we could have another Darren Fletcher- he needs 10 games and then we will know.

He only assisted 3? Won’t be long before he’s out of the team as well it seems. Took us something like 12 games to get our first win last season. I’m enjoying every single win this time. I don’t care how they come about.

I thought Clucas was better today with McLean on the left allowing Clucas freedom to drift about more. Mind you until the sending off I thought we were very dodgy with McLean as left wing back. I was thinking bring back Steady Eddy Fox.

Is it just me or is our midfield worse off since we added Mikkel? Genuine question: how did you watch the game yesterday and come to the conclusion Jordan Cousins is better? Mikel was a Rolls Royce yesterday.

Like most of the players, Clucas is learning how to meld in with the new additions. Rome wasn't built in a day and MON will have to mould his side over time and some players will not be back to their best until then. I like Clucas. He's a midfielder with plenty of goals in him when he gets going.
OS.

More Vauxhall astra mate.. He was a step above any other player on the pitch for me. Even without looking at the minor detail, take him out of the team and replace him with just about any other midfielder we’ve got then the game finishes 0-0.

Souttar was our best player closely followed by fletcher. Mikel was terrible when it was 11 vs 11 and was being bypassed in midfield again. After the red card he was better but not as good as everyone is making out.
