My lad lives there and I've been plenty of times its easy to get about but a couple of my favourite are www.eschenheimer.de/Good for football games. Bar Helium But to be fair you cant go wrong there i love it. As for Koln I use flix bus from Frankfurt HBF cheap and 2hrs you're there. Smashing indoor market called Kleinmarkthalle Worth a visit. You can cross the river into the town on foot its not too far most of the busy area is around Konstablerwache where they usually have a large outside market at the weekends plenty if cheap booze and food. Koln is a great city, been there many times. Can't imagine the Christmas market will be on this year, but it's one of the best. If you want a bit of culture, the Dom (cathedral) is well worth the knackering climb to the top and the Museum is excellent. Loads of great bars selling the delicious Kolsch. I've been told by my lad just that the Christmas market in Frankfurt is going ahead apparently they have just announced it on the news. Thank goodness for that 🍻 |

Well it's all gone pear shaped my Christmas trip is off my train, bus and hotel all cancelled 😞
