As I was watching the match last night the commentator never stopped banging on about him, I thought he was fucking gash made a couple of runs but was almost invisible for the other 88 minutes. I know we were reportedly after him a few years back but after seeing his career develop in England it's been similar to his performance last night. Then Brown came on for the Stoke and showed him how it should be done Gouranga.

McClean showed him up last night and James wasn't even one of our best players.
He showed his limitations last night. He can be frighteningly good when the ball drops for him.

It's if he's up for it perhaps?
I saw him Derby v Boro few years ago he was immense, they doubled up on him, made no difference.

You could have replied through the Psychic Today telepathy route Although I'm not joining you on the Gay Network (just not my thing) Gouranga.

One of his crosses went out for a throw in on the other side of the pitch.

I've seen him a few times since our interest in him. He seems to me to be extremely quick, with absolutely no football ability whatsoever. Most times he seems to knock the ball past the fullback, but also out of play,or as said previously, put it for a throw in on the other side.
I did hear that when he was at Boro,he always played on the dug out side so that Karanka could give him instructions.

I think the "gash" comment are bit harsh.
I thought he was the only Wolves player who posed a real threat to us last night.
He seems to have reverted to having little end product after beating defenders.

He skinned McClean every time last night and in the end it took 3 (Indi, McClean and Tymon) to stop him.
Thankfully his end product was bollocks.
The one cross that went for a throw was hilarious.

Traore is 90% of the way to being a top player...and then he crosses it 😂

We were more than after him, he was here training for a week He signed for Villa the day we signed Shaqiri
Taken him years to improve but he definitely has however he's still got the old failures when his standards drop. Nuno is a good manager who will know when to take him out of their side.

Always looks like he’ll cause problems one way or other.
His dribbling ability has definitely improved massively. But his crossing was awful last night.

He reminded me of Marc Goodfellow. Rapid pace but zero end product. Although Freezer will always attain a modicum of legendary status for his 2 goals against the shit in that midweek preseason friendly at the brit.

Goes past people with such ease. His end product has improved massively the last couple of years but it's still nowhere near where it should be.

I'd have him instead of both Ince and McClean.

He gave the impression on Thursday of someone who was not too chuffed to be playing a cup game against lowly Stoke. I've seen him play games where he's been unstoppable.
