All right in small doses, as long as you have an escape route. Generally I hate Cities.

Londongrad is fine despite Bluffer flogging most of it off to rich, overseas property investors? Liberal, progressive usually reliably Labour at general elections! What’s not to like?

Sightseeing and history(before it is completely re written) is great, but for a maximum of a weekend once a year for me.
I used to live and work there in the 80s and 90s and it was a shit hole then, Lord knows it’s a 100 times worse now. I actually don’t feel sorry for those living there who are turning it into what they want it to be so let them live in the dump if that’s what they want.

Love the place as my daughter lives in Fulham, we stick to the places we know food/drink wise, well did but there’s some great places if you know where to go.

Go to London...I guarantee you'll either be mugged or not appreciated.
Catch the train to London, stopping at Rejection, Disappointment, Backstabbing Central and Shattered Dreams Parkway.

It’s tolerable if drunk. I used to do delivery driving work across the city and it’s the only thing that got me through it.

I personally enjoy going there, love the pubs in London, I think the City is impressive to look at with all the history and the buildings and there's so many different areas you can visit. Of course like every city it's got issues and I know some shocking stuff goes on but I've found if you're in Central London you'll be fine and have a great time

With getting on for 10 million people living there I'd be amazed if there weren't issues now and then to be honest. The "blurb" at the top of the Shard said it was the 2nd or 3rd ( can't remember which) most visited city in the world. Each to their own but I'd much rather spend time wandering around there than lie on a sunbed looking at the sky for 2 weeks.

Completely agree, I can see why people want to visit theres so much to see and do, one thing I don’t get though is foreign tourists taking photos in the red telephone box (I know to them it's different etc) if they did that in Stoke they'd just smell piss! Also got a great deal last time I went 2 nights in piccadilly cicrus for £90 Hotel Z would recommend

I've never had any issues there personally and I wouldn't be stupid enough to walk into the rough suburbs to find out I can't remember ever seeing so much as a row whenever I've been there (football matches aside obviously) which is quite a lot. However during 3 nights in Prague I saw homeless people with knives out threatening one another in a main tourist street, people just walked around them like it was an everyday occurrence. Not that it would stop me visiting Prague again, also a brilliant city.

If you fancy it and want some details drop me a pm whenever.

Love the place as was born and lived there for many years, albeit not a fan of East side at all . After nearly 20 years here I would not go back, love visiting but way too many people and not what I’d call quality of life. But one of the great capital cities, as a music fan it was my epicentre growin*up, everyone played London when they toured.
