Since March i seemed to have developed an addiction. It happened about 2 weeks before the ‘ lockdown’. Inhaling hand sanitiser. I flip the lid and take a long sniff of the stuff about 12 times a day. Anybody else found this or any other addiction since all this covid?

No.
I don't think too much of desinfectants are good for the hands.
I mainly use soap and hot (+50°C) water.

Not really but i got accused of tip-ex sniffing on my first week in my job but as i pointed out i was just blowing on the paper the correction fluid was applied to, to dry it out quicker

Is this a container you keep at home, or is it one you keep in your pocket? If you keep it at home, have you tried switching to a bottle with a pump? For added deterrent, perhaps tape the pump bottle down on the table/counter.
Is it the scent that you are addicted to? I've been making my own sanitizer using alcohol (must be 90+%) and aloe gel. It smells only of rubbing alcohol, so it's pretty unpleasant.
Dry hands from sanitizing is a potentially serious problem as it can lead to cracks that get infected. I wore gloves when my hands became too dry and used the sanitizer on my gloves to avoid cross contamination between surfaces I touched.

Anybody else found this or any other addiction since all this covid? There are worse habits than sniffing the Lifebouy Colin. Just ask Trevor and Domingo.

I did use the small ones but now buy it in a large container. Started off on 70% but now on the 90% stuff.

Yes Trevor and Domingo have a sniffing habit. Not sure what it is exactly but got a feeling it's some sort of energy supplement because they both ( sneakily but i do notice) sniff a small bottle have a headrush then nip off for half an hour and when they arrive back Trevor can hardly walk. They both seem really relaxed too.

I once walked him on him on all fours and Trevor behind him shouting sniff and smell. They must have just come back from a fancy dress party as they were dressed as cowboys. Not actually sure what he was sniffing but my friend Alan says they are a bit different.

You might end up walking like John Wayne yourself.

Trevor likes to dress as a cowboy and says he goes to parties says he shoots up indians.

Can I suggest when you next get the urge to make a cup of hot bovril fetch the tartan blanket and think of a better place I bet waggy gets the bovril and tartan blanket out when he watches stoke on a stream That’s how I always imagine it. Though sometimes it a small sherry in place of the Bovril. Cant wait to see the wife’s face (septic) when I buy her a Bovril at her first live Stoke game.
