I expect some people will just flip a coin because it makes little difference to them. Others will be constrained by shift patterns at work, child care, holidays, baby sitters etc. etc. I wonder if the club will allow red/white swaps once during the season? For example if someone finds at, say, the midpoint of the season, that the "other" card would fit in better with their circumstances in the second half of the season.

Let me help you. I have translated it into Posh: "Neither option appeals to me. The reason for that is that, when I attend a football match at the home ground of Stoke City Football Club, I resent the assumption that I am unable to make adult, informed decisions. In particular I do not welcome being required to be positioned in a specific place. It is common knowledge that that is what is afoot. In all probability, it will become compulsory to raise your hand to ask permission to visit the water-closet".

I don't think it's fair that Vale can have their full 5000 in for every game.

Neither - at my age I don’t feel safe until an effective vaccine is distributed to us all. I already have an early bird season ticket which I know can be refunded and I am pleased with that. My question is what package is available to me as a season ticket holder to stream all of this season’s home games.

My question is what package is available to me as a season ticket holder to stream all of this season’s home games. Looking at the message from Stoke, it would appear that unless you buy either a Red or a White package, you will get a full refund and have to buy each home game at £10 a game. I will probably go for the White, because one of my "bubble" is on holiday for the Birmingham game. However, as both the others potentially in my "bubble" are in their 80s and have either recently had or due to have a knee replacement, a lot will depend on which seats are available. At the moment there are handrails and brick walls all the way to our seats but if there are no seats available with similar access then I guess they will be giving this season a miss as well.

I think red will have the better games and white has more night games, which is a negative for me with a little lad. However, if white is the only choice when it comes to buying then i'll happily take that too.

It's 100% guaranteed that if you post on here in the normal communication mode you use to interact with your peers, you'll be shot down in flames by those who frequent this board. So I suggest you either grow skin as thick as a turtle's shell, work out so you have such broad shoulders that everything deflects from you, or you actually try to use grammar correctly. The other alternative is to pretend you're Benjamin Biscuit's offspring and the Oxford Grads on here will be lenient with you. BTW, don't be so bolshie and sit where you're told to sit. Oh, and especially watch out for Lakeland Potter. He shoots and eats squirrels and needs a helicopter to get off the top of mountains. He's also Chief-of-Staff of the Grammar Police. Apart from that advice... welcome to the loony bin. OS.

So by being a regular season ticket holder for decades and being old and decrepit, I am going to be penalised £100s to stream our games. That can’t be right.

none because i arnt been treated like a kid down the ground buy people telling me what to do and where to stand because we all know thats what will happen prob have to put your hand up to go toilet There will be rules which are designed to stop the spread of the virus, just as there are at the moment away from football grounds. Without sounding too dramatic about it, this is because an individuals behaviour can threaten the life of others, and a football ground is undoubtedly a risk area in that respect. It's not about being treated like a kid, it's about requiring people to behave like an adult and not put the health of others at risk. That said, there will be fans, like yourself, who will take a perfectly rational and reasonable decision that the rigmarole which complying with the rules involves is too much, detracts too much from the enjoyment of the match day experience, and is just not worth it. That's fine. The club have offered a season ticket holiday for those who feel like that, and we'll look forward to seeing you back when this awful business is over.
