Awful decision to sell him.
One of the only players that we played last season that seemed to have real quality.
Baggies must be pissing themselves...

If they don't manage to escape one of these seasons they'll be in real trouble. Gold and Sullivan are just treading water, it will bite them in the arse at some point......

I get the disgruntlement but he is completely unproven in the Premier League and somewhat of a raw talent. They've cashed in .

Looks like they’re in for Tarkowski who’d be a good signing. Watched a bit of Hammers fan TV and to a man they’re really pissed off with Sullivan.

But if the media is anything to go by they're replacing him with Benrahma. Another unproven Premier League talent... And to be fair to the Diangana fella, he's played half a season in the Premier League and impressed enough to get a loan to a team that ended up getting promoted from the Championship. I follow a few West Ham fans on Twitter and they thought the decision to loan him out in the first place was odd. Anyway, fuck West Ham. Gold and Sullivan are the perfect owners for my money.

He’s not unproven at prem level at all, Pelligrini played him about 16 times In the 2018/19 season. He’s real class and will be an England regular in a few years. Terrible decision by GSB.

I think it’s now or never for him but it certainly wouldn’t be a step up moving to West Ham. Maybe a Leicester/Everton move would be tempting🤔

And Moyesy spends it all on a centre-half.
Always hard to judge how good Burnley centre-halves are because they're so well protected

I think Tarkowski is okay but as always transfer fees are ludicrous despite covid

Surely they should have lots of money considering they got a free stadium courtesy of Boris Johnson which taxpayers are still paying for btw.
Over £30m over the last year of taxpayers money gone into a stadium that only West Ham are using.
West Ham contribute a max. £3m a year on a stadium that is operating at losses of £20-£30m a year.
Title thread should read 'Not so Happy Taxpayers'!

As a club, there's a lot not to like about them, especially with the Brady, Sullivan, Gold factor
In my experience, their fans are generally ok and more grounded than the club perceive to be. Certainly more bearable than the other big London's clubs supporters. IMO of course

IMO of course Interesting Might be right re the fan base but the general media portrayal of West Ham bears no resemblance to reality West Ham are AN other club along with at least 20 other clubs, very occasionally top ten Premier League, regular relegation battles and periods in the Championship. OK unlike lots of clubs they have avoided third tier (since the 50's) but if you just went by the media you'd think they were a really big club regularly challenging the top clubs which has simply almost never been the case. They had a great season in the 80's with Cottie and Mcavennie but other than that they have done nothing.

I'd guess that most WBA supporters are slightly bemused that the club has found the money to buy GD and WHUFC have been rash enough to cash in on one of their most inventive players. I doubt that Moyes had any say in the matter as the Dildo Twins seem to run the club on their whims.

Agree about the media obsession with them and Brooking being high up at the FA probably didn't help. I'm sure some of their fans will share the same ideas, but in general, the ones I've come across seem to be a little more grounded. Certainly don't seem to have the arrogance factor that you find with Chelsea, Arse and even Spurs
