I've said all along having inside knowledge from a friend at Derby that technically they have done nothing wrong having League approval for everything they have done even the outside valuation of the ground. We can't do the same as our ground is 'owned' in the same way that Derby's now is by a separate company from the football club but with the same owners. If anything Derby copied our model.

Wonder how many brown envelopes went around. None I would think just the League realising they would look extremely incompetent if they punished a club for something they had previously given their approval to. Plus the fact Derby would immediately appeal and the Football League would have to explain why they had given approval and then back tracked. The moral is make sure you let the League know what you are doing and get them to ratify it. As with Wigan's sale to new owners they are too lazy to do thorough research.

I think it's owned by stoke holdings (was kidsgrove holdings) as are the training ground and then the football club it's self.

Can we at least lease the ground to some Turkish team for a season, let's not put them off by charging them though.
