1.5-2m for a now premier league forward isn't much is it? No chance we have sold him for that, it will be around £5m I'd have thought so but all reports seem to say that figure rising to 4m after playing 50 games. Have to see what comes out but every deal we do is undisclosed.

It's ca. 5M + add ons. Everything I've heard points to that.

All this talk of fee's and I've not seen a single report that lists a transfer fee. Everybody is just picking numbers out of their arse or listening to people that are.

Averaging out all the speculation on fees I'd say it's roughly 3.8m rising to 5m with add-ons

His main mistake during his time was to fall foul of BO. Once he's proclaimed you are shit and not a footballer you are fucked and get consigned to international football and the Premier League. If he likes you you're made for life and can look forward to playing in the Luxembourg 4th Division. Do you mean Thibaud Verlinden ? Was Verlinden Bayern's greatest player ? Now plays for Beerschot in Belgium.. Is that a pub?

But even then, they're guessing based on bits of information they've received.

£5m rising to £7m with add ons would be my guess…..

£5m rising to £7m with add ons would be my guess….. Seems to be the range. We wouldn't have accepted the "Twitter" offer so quickly. Still means Browney must play 50 games for them to reach the higher figure. Might be a Championship player when that happens.

Like Jon Walters he was slated for doing his best, when that's all anyone can do. decent, honest bloke that gave his all. Would happily have 1 Jacob Brown to 10 Imbulas et al.

Who cares how much we got for him? The Club will have done the best deal for Stoke. He's someone else's player now. Move on.

Didn't we play a pre-season there some years ago...in their old, closed down, shitty stadium? they had already moved to a new site but played us on the old ground...got a bit tasty off the field I seem to recall I think we had also signed a player from there...damned if I can remember who

I hope Jacob has done the best for himself. Pretty hard to ignore a pay rise and the chance to play in the best football competition in the world. Thank You and Good Luck to you, mate.

Depending on who else we sell (and any info given out about it this year), won’t we know the fee when the financial reports are eventually released?

Beerschot had a reputation at the time as being one of the worst clubs in Belgium for trouble, as did we. Afterwards, the local police put everyone on coaches back to the city centre (Antwerp maybe?) but there wasn't room for us and half a dozen others, so we got a lift back in the back of a riot van. It had kicked off to such an extent we were warned to go back to our hotel and not come out until morning. Safe to say we took off our colours and went back out. Happy days.

I have found Brown mostly frustrating to watch but I wish him all the very best and would love to see him score a winner v Arsenal or Newcastle in the PL.
That would get me off my seat.

Subbed on at 1-0, now 2-0 down after Luton conceded a penalty. Alfie Doughty also subbed on.

Missing his work rate today His replacement lasted 30 mins before being swapped. Don't know if anyone noticed but Laurent was running beyond the front three to press their back line. Alex Neil must have noticed to have made the early change. Much improved once Wesley came on. There's loads to be positive about regarding our attacking players. Just need to find the right balance. The next forward signing needs to be willing to press otherwise the away form won't be as good as last year.

Right now he's got third highest score on the BBC player poll for the match.
It's nice to see.

Great debut by Brown. Nice cross to win Luton a penno. Good shot requiring a good save. Their two best attacks had Brown involved from the MOTD highlights. All from the ‘technically limited’ player that Bayern has been having digs at for years
