Was hoping it was the young guy who came off the bench against us when first saw the link. Some pointless research found his name, Callum Styles. Looked quality to my untrained eye!
We did need a pacy winger though so fingers crossed for our lad

35 years supporting Stoke has made me a pessimist, but I’ve got a feeling we will do well this season. decades of supporting Stoke and being from N.Staffs however hard not to be reasonably optimistic of a better season top half at the very least what could possibly go wrong? “I only told them to blow the bloody doors off”

At H/T we let them have more of the ball as we were well ahead 3-0.

I would imagine that's it now for outfield players, maybe a keeper if Butland does leave?.

Did he play against us last season? Genuinely can't remember him doing so. No slight intended just a question due to my old age

so, fee around 2 million. Any indications yet as to where the money is coming from? Presumably there is a reasonable certainty that we have some outgoing transfer fees income on the way.

O’Neill said: “Jacob can play right in a 4-3-3, he can play up top in a 3-5-2 and, with a bit of work, he can play right wing-back too. Certainly physically he has the attributes to play there.

If it was a choice between Tyrese or Brown I’d have TC every time

If it was a choice between Tyrese or Brown I’d have TC every time Yeah. It's one of those old addages, if we could combine them they would be a beast of a player. Campbell is technically very, very good and Browne has the pace and desire. They both have weaknesses but will be vital in the run in this season.

If it was a choice between Tyrese or Brown I’d have TC every time A fit raring to go Campbell is our best striker by a mile However he often has a knock. I'd play Brown v Barnsley if Campbell isn't in good shape. Edit: both playing either side of Fletcher in a 433 might be interesting

If it's Premier League interest we surely should be looking to at least double our money on him? I'm utterly staggered anyone would be interested, even Luton.

If Brown was signed by a Premier League club, this board would go into meltdown. Bayern may well have to seek medical help.
