It looks like the smaller building was already on fire for a short while before the massive explosion took place. Looks like total carnage.
I don't think that was your average domestic gas supply exploding !

I don't think that was your average domestic gas supply exploding ! There are some absolutely horrific videos emerging now on Twitter. I'm not going to post them on here because they are so graphic and personal. If admin want me to take down the two above (which are from a distance) then absolutely no problem.

The flashes visible in the first sequences or seconds look like Ordnance or explosives. Whether accidental or triggered who can say, but they look like arms or detonators.

Beirut was once a truly cosmopolitan city 'Paris of the east', not some hell hole. Then the civil war started. Recovering in many ways but this is obviously an appalling event that will set things back

Quite scary to watch that, another reason ammunition and fireworks etc should not to stored anywhere close to urban areas.

No one has claimed responsibility so maybe it really is just an astonishing accident.

It was a missile attack most likley Israeli. Whilst I would rule out an attack Lebanese news and officials reporting an accident not a attack.

It was a missile attack most likley Israeli. Am I missing something here? There was a fire already raging, you can clearly hear & see what looks like a fuck load of fireworks going off. You then hear it build & build in intensity untill that fuck off explosion takes place.

It was a missile attack most likley Israeli. Fuck off was it. Fuck off and take your retarded conspiracy theories with you. You can quite clearly see a fire before the main explosion. And just to prove a point, would you care to highlight exactly what conventional missile Israel, or any other country for that matter, has that can cause a detonation of that magnitude? Oh and it was an invisible missile too, was it?

That’s a firework compared to the missiles the yanks have , just looks like a terrible accident where either explosives or explosive materials have ignited

Apparently it was a warehouse full of confiscated high explosives. Like I said in the other thread I mistakenly posted in, that was definitely a HE explosion. Fireworks won't cause a detonation like that.

That’s a firework compared to the missiles the yanks have Not really, even if you include the GBU-43 which is a bomb and not a missile (but it's the largest conventional warhead they have) it's 'only' about ~8500kg..

It was a missile attack most likley Israeli. No Evidence of that at all, there was clearly a fire prior to the explosion. Aljazeera are running with a story that explosive substances had been seized and then held in that silo for over 2 years despite many complaints about the safety of the storage. Edit: Just noticed that Boothen posted this a few minutes ago but the Story was on Aljazeera at 6pm.

Clearly an accident but reading recently there’s been a number of unexplained explosions in certain countries of late
Since late June there have been several unexplained fires or blasts at sensitive sites:
26 June: Blast at a liquid fuel production facility for ballistic missiles in Khojir, close to Parchin, near Tehran; fire at power plant in Shiraz, causing a blackout 30 June: Explosion at a medical clinic in Tehran, 19 people killed 2 July: Blast and fire at Natanz nuclear site 3 July: Large fire in Shiraz 4 July: Explosion and fire in power plant in Ahwaz; chlorine gas leak at Karoun petrochemical plant in Mahshahr

The cynic in me says it was easier for Iran Hezbollah to ship it around if it was kept dockside. But yeah, we'll see what, if any, questions are raised.

The " detonation" was due to the facility being a munitions dump. See the video ( there are numerous more) for the " invisible missile". Your in no position to call anyone a retard are you - I've countered every point you've made.
