If Swansea go through playing Brentford next season should be fun If Swansea go up, that’s both the teams we came down with back up at second attempt. How come we have been so far behind them both this season and last? BM Because we hired Nathan Jones (and Rowett was a penarse)

BM Because we hired Nathan Jones (and Rowett was a penarse) To be fair we took 10 point off them and only conceded once ( that was under Jones of course ) A case of what might have been I guess but we go from scratch again and no reason why it can't be us

Not going to be that easy to turn it around.

Fancy Cardiff tonight.
I had no idea they were gunning for the playoffs until about 3 or 4 games before the end. They came from nowhere with Swansea.
Fulham are alright. A bit meh.

Probably if you’ve never played the game...never a red.

You really do wonder how a team with the lack of quality Cardiff have make the play offs🤔

Fulham have been the best side I've seen at home this season. Loved how they played. They lacked a cutting edge which was great for us but their passing was excellent and if turn that into attacking threat (which they clearly have) then it's a cracking combination.

Cardiff looked void of any ideas in the final third fair play to Fulham that onomah looks a tidy player.

Weve taken points from all of them, and that makes its all the more galling of our demise in the past 2 years. However i do feel an air of confidence we can make the playoffs ourselves next season.

Parker almost did a 'Rowett' by resting his key striker Mitrovic for this game. But unlike Rowett it worked pretty well. But they looked toothless for much of the game against a pretty woeful Cardiff without their star man. A brentford v Fulham final would be a good watch and they are the two stand out teams in the playoffs. Swansea looked ok but I expect Brentford to turn them over. As for Cardiff, as others have said how bang average teams like Cardiff can make the playoffs makes it frustrating that we have been a shambles since being in the Championship and missed a real chance to bounce back quickly. Not sure the league will be any different next season. A couple of stand out teams and at least a dozen woefully average sides of which 4 will make the lottery of the playoffs.

To be fair Mitrovic has a niggling injury and he did say he risked losing him for the next 2 games if he played. They have won 6 and drawn 1 without him this season though Mitrovic is still touch and go for Thursday so I guess they can perhaps rest him again Agree re Cardiff. Real average side

Thankfully it has been overturned, Swansea's over reaction not helping the ref. Go on brentford.

Brentford are every bit the team I hoped we could be.
Fast, direct and no fear at all.
Hope they go up.

Gutted for the Brentford fans missing this. I can't begin to think how I would have felt if the last game at the Vic was behind closed doors!

Looks like we will be down to just 3 London matches next season.
May not be a bad thing since I don't think we have won in the capital since the 'Fuller to Whelan" miracle match at White Hart Lane.
