I'd imagine that Watford have probably bought very badly and therefore will have our age-old issue of players not wanting to head off to Adam's park on a cold Tuesday. Bournemouth maybe less so, and if they keep with the baby face, then they could be a rival next season. It would be very nice to take a lot of points off them. Don’t really think that’s the case tbh and anyone like will get a move. Sarr, Doucoure, Delefoleu, Capoue etc should all get a move to a PL or foreign club. They’ve then got players like Foster, Dawson, Hughes and Deeney as a cracking spine for any Chanpionship club. And then Cathcart, Gray and Cleverley to add to that too. That is what most outsiders looking in said about us when we went down. Probably depends on who they get as manager how well they do

Great players on paper.. It’s an ideal group to go down with surely? And any players that don’t want to play in the Champo they’ll move to Udinese and then bring them back if they get promoted. About the only one I wouldn’t fancy of the ones I’ve named in the Champo is Gerry D. Although he should rip this league up.

But are you looking forward to meeting them next season? I think we did the double against the season we went down, but no doubt they'll have a new manager, again, and they're just such an awkward bunch to play against. Not good footballers, but awkward. Didn’t we draw 1-1 in Lamberts 2nd game against them? We won at their place, Fletcher scored and it was a poison chalice because Hughes might’ve gone sooner if we’d lost. Fairly certain the home game was a dour midweek 0-0 when we were desperate for a win - could’ve been 1-1 but almost certain we didn’t win.

What’s also funny about Watford going down is that next season they’ll be on equal terms with their hated and recent non league neighbours Luton.
Before the lockdown with no Super Nath at Luton and Nigel Pearson doing a steady job steering Watford to safety it looked nailed on they’d be two leagues apart next season.
Luton fans really have had a great end to the season haven’t they!

Back to Bournemouth. The media darlings still getting compliments from the pundits. Dion Dublin, on BBC Final Score, thinks that Bournemouth "play football the right way".

Yep I remember it was mid week coz I was away with work and couldn’t go, if we won that it could have made a huge difference to us. Didn’t Watford have a (another) reasonably new manager as well?

The Championship is unpredictable but I must admit I don't see how Watford or Bournemouth bounce back. Or, indeed, Norwich.

Not many for sure. One does simply not know what state the dynamics of a club are though which as we know to our own cost is much more influential than the players on team sheet

Anyone feel sorry for Bournemouth?! Me neither. Welcome back you cheating tin pot bastards. They wouldn’t look out of place in league 2 the Bournemouth local tinpot league. They’re basically a Northampton or Exeter type club who’ve won the lottery. Corrected for you

But they should've finished on 34 points though. That extra point changed everything and they didn't deserve it. They had a handball goal given by VAR Probably wasn't a clear cut handball though. (I haven't seen it / can't remember it) Every team gets decisions go there way. That's subjectivity's relationship with football. Goal line tech failure though... that shouldn't happen and Aston Villa shouldn't have gained that extra point that kept them up. I'd be fuming if I was Bournemouth. Which makes it all the better being a neutral.

Can't do anything about it now and it's great it has resulted in Bournemouth going down. If we were Bournemouth fans though we'd rightly be fuming...
