Hard to understand the point of any of that or why it's been made available for public consumption. Clearly it won't represent our match dead ball routines.. or should I say I certainly hope it doesn't. Weird waste of time on all fronts. This recording was a bit of a dud, but I think that their social media content over pre-season has been much more engaging than usual to be honest. Regular, short, relatively diverse interviews and the “you laugh, you lose (which I’m not a big fan of)” is a marked improvement.

Do you really think we’d post video on YouTube showing our set piece routines for next season? The only thing “cringeworthy” about this is the acting prowess on display. Not as bad as Laurence Fox, mind. Actually I don't really have a problem with Laurence Fox as an actor. It is when he reverts to playing himself and spouting his own bizarre opinions, that I switch off!

The energy and intensity largely comes from other sessions. It should come from all sessions, they looked bored and half arsed in this session which isn't good at all.

Is a loose, pre season warm up session. Is there anything some don't deeply analyse and find fault with?

I noticed the other week that our manager has put Rory Delap in charge of set pieces. www.stokecityfc.com/news/2020/july/Manager-praises-Delap-s-set-piece-nous/I also noticed that we are suddenly a crack team on set pieces, with almost every goal coming from a corner, free kick or throw in. Sam Clucas has suddenly mastered the whipped in corner to the danger zone, rather than his gentle wafts to the first man, and Danny Batth has morphed into Leon Cort. It's about time. Have you woken up yet

Rather worryingly it seems this video does represent the general thrust of the clubs preseason training and preparation. Random aimless balls into the box with a disinterested group of players who appear to have no real idea what the plan is.

It needs something more, why are they are showing it on a video Can watch that sort of training with a Sunday league team

That’s my thoughts for what they are worth and I’m trying to stay positive and hoping they can turn it around for millwall

Good player for Stoke,,put us on the map with his throws, but I don't think he is a coach and needs replacing ASAP.

He doesn't sound that interested himself. As an instructor he's useless. No energy, or plan, as to what he is trying to instruct them in. What the movement is, & what the outcome should be. He's just walking around beeping & saying "Well done". Like they are 6 year olds. Anyone could do his job. He'll be paid a lot of money to do that, as well. The players seem to be just aimlessly walking around. As I said, no energy, or get-up-and-go. Just in a crowd, looking disinterested. Doesn't bode well, does it?

Talk about over analysing things. Was a basic warm up session after a Summer break not a boot camp

At the risk of stating the obvious, isn’t this giving the game away or is it subtle subterfuge? Since we don’t do subtle I fear the worst.

Talk about over analysing things. Was a basic warm up session after a Summer break not a boot camp And people wonder why we don't put as much out on social media, or get as involved with the fans as other teams are perceived to do. Anything and everything half of our fans can get their claws into will be used to belittle & bemoan the club

Some still obsessed with some ordering a pizza a decade ago so not really a surprise 😉

I stumbled across a Kompany mic’s up session at Burnley yesterday. The difference between him and Delap is staggering.
I don’t know why, I think Kompany is going to be a good manager, he came across really really well.

One played for first class managers, in a first class system. The other didn’t. One knows what great looks like, the other doesn’t.

That’s not the difference mournhio is a prime example of someone who wasn’t an elite player , Delap played under Pulis and his sessions were both passionate and highly highly organised

Looks like his inspiring set piece training worked a treat.
3 corners with a man having a free header. 2 goals.
