Nice to see all the well wishes for him on here. Criminally misused by Stoke managers, but bloody gave his all and his effort was not to be questioned. A top professional and who can leave here with my utmost respect. Cheers Mame. I wish him well but he was very much in and out both in terms of effort and effect, the picture of him as a non stop worker is an urban myth.

He's superb at making those types of runs. For all his faults still baffling why we didn't just play him up front week in week out in the Premier League?

Mame was at his best when he didn’t have time to think which is what made his goal at Man City so odd.
There weren’t many games where he didn’t get at least one very good chance. Always seemed to be in or about the right place.
Best of luck Mame!

Is his cake shop still up Hanley? Wrong Mama. The cakeshop was run by Mama Sidebe... you know... 'Nobody can play the Mama role'. Well done Mame. OS.

Whenever I see this thread I think of Sidibe.
I actually saw him play up Power League at night about month ago.

Always played with a smile on his face Always put a shift in whenever he played no matter what Always seemed to have time for fans and didnt grumble whether he played or didnt The other players and the club all treat him as a good egg. Mama should go with our best wishes, scored some decent goals. Cheers for the memories Mame! Mama or Mame, I'm totally confused.

Diouf was good for us and to think that we could have had him up front with Bojan behind him in this league but two managers didn’t fancy it.
Absolute clowns. It would be the best strike duo in this league now by miles.

It would be the best strike duo in this league now by miles. It's unbelievable to think Bojan could have been starting for us in this league. Complete thick, stubborn and inept management. Actually makes me angry.

It would be the best strike duo in this league now by miles. We disagree on a lot of things, for me if we had kept Lambert we woukd be in a much better position than we are now. The management and decisions that followed the removal of lambert were an absolute travesty. We needed to get rid of anybody saleable Butland Allen Bauer Ndiaye Woukd have raised 30m got rid of wages. Diouf woukd have been fine at this level instead we sign guarantees promotion Adobe at 12m. What on earth was that? Improving contracts for Allen, Bauer and Butland Then shelling out on old relegated players McLean Clucas and Ince. Makes my blood boil just thinking about it and the guy in charge of it all is still there.

I’ll never forget Man City away. Absolute madness it was. Me neither mate,I was sat around the pool in Dubrovnik going mental when he scored and then again when we hung on to win😄 I was in a pool hall in the Far East...I haté pool but they had a massive TV and cheap Tiger beer. Think I stood there mouth open for a few mins when he scored.
