What's the point in resting Powell? If he's got enough to start and give us a good hour then we should, imo. If he’s carrying an injury it would be madness The new season is only 6 weeks away so a basic hamstring/groin can put somebody out for that long let alone somebody who is carrying an injury I think him and Clucas have been carrying knocks for a couple of weeks reading between the lines. Seems sensible for him to sit out of this one if there's any doubt.....

Wee typo there I think. No need for the apostrophe. For what it’s worth Bayern’s use of the apostrophe here is correct. (As is mine!) 🤪 It was a joke! Do I need to explain it?

Powell hates us so much he’ll probably injure himself on purpose before giving us the “wankers’ sign to the camara as he’s being stretchered off.

I'm surrounded by forest fans here in Calverton. Their form is woeful! I will love it if we beat them and might even wear my Stoke top for the dog walk tomorrow night!

That is all.

Forest will surely be trying to win this one, not least because a demoralisingly heavy defeat combined with a good win for either Cardiff or Swansea could see them leapfrogged by one of the latter and then having to face Brentford in the playoffs. Plus, they need to regain some kind of winning form before the playoffs. It will be a tough game, unless both sides set their stall out for a draw. Hopefully not.

If neither Powell nor Clucas play that will leave a huge hole in Stoke's team and we don't really have players that are like for like. O'Neill may have to already swwallow his reprimand for the younger lads and include them in larger numbers, at least on the bench. I imagine Campbell will be restored to the team, and either Thomposn or Sorensen will come into central midfield, but neither player have (yet) the creative ability that Clucas sometimes exhibits. Cousins is also limited, even though his form has improved.
So we will all be hoping that the magic sponge will see major improvement today.

He's right - the young players need to earn a place in the starting 11 and if they aren't doing enough they need to give their heads a wobble. The first team isn't there to develop youngsters - it's about results and the only criteria for inclusion is that in the manager's opinion you're the best option.

Going to sit with me beer and pop corn and watch the fireworks unfold. Feels so good not to be shitting our pants as to whether we go down or not.
Would love to see hull, luton, and probably brum go. Weds could be in the shit and hoping wigan do enough to stay up.
Baggies will scrape into top 2 and hope stoke can scupper forest

Lots of drama on both ends of the table today. Plus a win for us will give us more points this season than last season (wouldn't have believed you if you told me that while Jones was still in charge). Should be a fun low stress time for Stokies.

Can't imagine any other Stoke supporter than you would describe Porter et al in that way...
