Media darlings in a sickening way. Brentford will be next if they go up. at least brentford play nice football (normally), and generally their fans are an OK bunch too, not like these shiney teeth lot from Bournemouth! Brentford's recruitment makes ours look like a blindfolded drunk with a blank cheque throwing a dart at a list of players Good luck to them I say

I'm beginning to think a lot of people on this board don't like the man. I think what it is, is that we all know an Eddie Howe in real life don't we. The kid who told the teacher there was homework due, he is every single horrible smarmy little jobsworth, the fella that has a queue 10 back at the bar and insists on tasting every ale before ordering a fucking coors light... He's the bloke that sends his food back at McDonalds because it's not right. He's a moaning, smarmy, horrible little shit really.

I'm struggling with such hatred of a small club who have come a long way. I remember seeing them in the bottom tier. And Brentford up there is what top club snobs won't like. Its not as if Stoke have done anything on the pitch for a few seasons. I bet they'd be bitter if Port Vale made similar progress! 😂

I lived in Bmth for years. It's not a football town at all. You still see more Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs shirts around despite rising through the leagues and a few years in the Prem. Half a million people in the area with no shortage of wealth and no direct competition for fans, they still struggle to get a crowd. Eddie Howe is an arrogant tosser and I hope he falls on his face.
I don't hate them though as they are not a rival for us in any way.

Fast forward a few years and they are in the top league, with a new found fan base who never knew anything about their past and everything is "little Bournemouth" this, and "little Bournemouth" that!! Ive had these lot tell me for years that Stoke are "anti football" because we used to throw or kick the ball long, which was our strength in those days. Yet when Arter and Howe argued with the ref and got a decision overturned then Arter fronted the Boothern End and gestured to them, unfortunately that's when my real hate of them set in. It has grown since, as i see them waste time, roll around as if they have been pole-axed by an invisible sniper like my other pet hate (Arsenal). A few of their "genuine" fans have actually stopped going because they hate what they have become and have told me they hate the premier league and its snobbery. (I must be honest, i tend to agree with them on the Premier League bit, although id take it again if it happened ;-) )

They think they are God’s gift to football and how the Premier League will carry on without them who knows. Their fans invariably have another team and I know plenty who were always fans of the fashionable clubs but suddenly started rocking up as full kit wankers in their Cherries kit when they got into the Premier League. I expect these shirts to be confined to the bin soon enough then there will be more Liverpool, Manure, Chelsea tops on view than you can shake a stick at. Inside their ground they have parts of the stands wallpapered with recent images of success....how cheap and lacking in history is that? Overall, a wanky club, with fans who think they are superior, in an area more interested in beach polo. The only proper football fans down here are what’s left of the Scousers who were imported into the area in the 80s on a DSS free transfer. Hopefully they come down and carry on sliding right back to the lowest division where history truly reflects their position as a powerhouse of English football. Rant over and breath.

They had the temerity to beat us a few times and use tactics some of our fans wish we could of used such as West Ham away. Can honestly say that I have no interest in them. The hatred is a pisser.
The hate on here has been covered before
West Ham Leeds Bournemouth Man Utd Liverpool Arsenal Vale Gary Monk Jack Wilshire Harry Arter
I've never known such bile and in the main it's all frustration boiling over because of our own wankness

People don't "HATE THEM" hate them...... They just football hate them!!! Nothing wrong with disliking another team, or player, and most of it's through frustration (possibly because of our own team) rather than just pure hatred!!!

Have to disagree, the general language used and snarling particularly to individuals is pure hate . Take a read over some of the comments on Monk or Wilshire. Just petty , Bournemouth for crying out loud . Bournemouth 😂

I don't know what it is about Bournemouth and Howe but I really don't like them either......... they seemed to train on game management rather than normal football tactics etc. You can see Howe in front of a white board and saying "if we are 1-0 up away from home with 8 minutes to go I want you to run over here, bump into a player and stay down for 3 minutes"......

I see Man City are circling around Ake. He’s a good player and they would’ve been gone long ago without him. I bet they get a very tidy sum for him.

Was it Burnley or Bournemouth, I can’t remember now - a couple of years before relegation at home, spent the entire game feigning injury to waste time. I think they had 4 or 5 head injuries in the game that were blatantly nothing. I don’t mind a bit of artistic licence or time wasting, all teams try to bend the rules, but these bastards incensed me that day and the ref did nothing to stop it.

The Watford game broke a new record of the lowest amount of time the ball was in play.
