With Villa highly likely to go down, they may retain Chester, especially if Mings goes. If they stay up we will probably buy him.

Tricky decision as hasn’t looked the best for me but has got better so I guess we have to have faith in MON to decide!

I thought he had a really good game today but him and Batth as a pairing are too slow and as Batth is already under contract I think it is thanks but now move on.

The priority is to reduce the size of the squad according to MON.
We have plenty of CBs, we need a LB and wide players with speed.
Can't see us signing him.

Hope not. He exactly the sort of player we need to give a wide berth. We need hungry, young players who have a bit of pace

Bruno will go Shawcross looks unfortunately finished He doesn’t like Lindsay Hopefully some idiot will take Wimmer Leaves us with Batth Collins Souter? May not be Chester but we’ll sign a centre half

Chester, our best defender atm, with Shawcross injured and Collins out of form. Batth has been better and important in these last games.
The Clumsy brothers (Smith and India) or Lindsay aren't players I would have picked in a starting XI. Haven't seen Wimmer or Souttar enough to judge them.

We’ve learnt absolutely nothing if he signs.
One of the worst players this season. Which takes some doing.

He’s played in all those games I’ve seen post from you saying that in recent games you’re not convinced with Davies Who are you happy with in the back line? Who do you give credit to in the last 3 games? Just Batth? It can’t be Bruno at left back? I’m not saying he’s the answer but we’ve done well in the last 3 games. Give some credit you miserable fucker!

I think we should try to sign other positions. Today was a good day for him and for that I won't bash him, he had a good game.

I personally wouldn't but I think O'Neill will sign him. He seems to be taken by him and to be honest, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes with Ryan and others so it may be that he is signing and we are losing a few anyway.
It's going to be a fascinating summer I think.

Sadly I think it's nailed on. Although he was a lot better today. He made a couple of timely challenges and certainly looked more comfortable throughout the game.

I watched extended highlights of the forest game earlier and noticed that more than once Chester got dragged out wide and physically bullied, mainly lack of pace, leading to clear cut chances for Forest, before we ended up taking charge.
One occasion led to a clearance of the goal line.
His reading of the game is still there and he looks classy on the ball, there is no doubting he was a good player with good technique, but again, he's not the answer.
We really have a short window to sort out the defence, because the fact is the back 4 and defensive mid is the problem, at the other end we scored plenty under o'neill.
Like Batth, Chester isn't the answer and we can't let ourselves be blinded by the great results in the last few games.
